Who you got? Iíll go with DJ, just because I always do, lol. I noticed the USGA put DJ, DeChambeau, and Finau together, I guess for a long driving contest.

Schauffele, the #7 player in the world, is your dark horse?

You're really going out there with that one

Gotta go with Rory!  If it were real money and not just who I like I'd have to bet on Thomas or DJ.

Iím actually kind of liking the Open being this late, we arenít playing football this weekend, and itís too early for me to get interested in the NFL. Now, the Masters may have some conflicts.

Itís gonna take a great putter to win at Wingfoot, and strong enough to overpower the rough when needed.   Iíll go with Rahm. I think itís time.

Hello, remember me ? I know it's been a while, but....thought I'd get my size for the Masters jacket for later on, and for good measure win the U.S. Open just for the helluvit.   Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can see the comments now. Nevertheless, if I didn't like soft lips, an hour glass shape, beautiful flowing auburn hair like Amy Adams and much cooler looking orifices I'd be questioning myself, too.  Anyway, it's my pick for the guy below to get on a run and win the last two Majors of this godawful year of 2020.

The PGA is just another golf tournament to me but I'll watch the Open and the Masters no matter when they're on and I really miss the British Open this year.   I got a kick out of JT yesterday when he said if the fans enjoy seeing the pros look bad and struggle, they'll enjoy watching this week.

As far as the NFL interfering with golf, when they choose to honor some but not others this year the lost me.

Never happen...not in a million years. Oh, DeChambeau may have a decent run for a while, but the Grand Old Dame that is WINGED FOOT will eventually swallow you up and spit you out.  She has done it to much better players than Bryson DeChambeau.

Fowler doesn't have enough talent to run 4 good scores together, especially on a course like Winged Foot. So one bad round and Ricky is through because he doesn't have the ability to overcome a bad round and go low. Not on Winged Foot. Count Ricky as another casualty at Winged Foot.

If the false fronts stay juicy and the elevated greens begin to dry out. It could still be even to +2 that wins it.

Yeah, watched off and on most of the day. I bet there wonít be as many under par tomorrow, the USGA frowns on that, lol. I did watch some of it, the last two hours on Peacock, they threw that in on Cox a couple of days ago.

Good of a chance as about 6 to 8 players. That draw of his kind of turns into a hook sometimes but he can get up and down from the portable crapper.

The greens are absolutely insane.  Almost every approach shot I watched yesterday was purposely left 10 yards short.

Last time I saw a green putt like that was at the Pirates Cove miniature golf course in Daytona Beach. Pretty ridiculous imo to have a green set up that way.

Meanwhile, DeChambeau hit his tee shot on the 558 yard par 5 ninth 380 yards. Only had a 178 left to the hole and hits his nine iron to within 7 feet of the cup where he made the eagle putt. But tell me that a 380 yard drive isn't the result of steroids being involved and I will sell you a bridge I won in London.

It doesn't matter, in the grand scheme of things DeChambeau is not playing any better than he was several years ago when he won the first couple of Playoff events.
The prodigious drives are not leading to a dip in overall scoring. He has had good events and bad events....but again, just like he was before.

He will find that his experiment didn't work. Now, he may decide it's fun to continue hitting 380-yard drives at times, but in the big picture (scoring, winning tournaments) this will not be a successful experiment.

I will not say he's on steroids or not, but really, golf doesn't have to worry about that so much. Why? Because you still have to chip and putt, and hit good wedge shots. Short game. Steroids and bulk may actually hinder touch around the greens. So..........let 'em bulk up all they want, it doesn't  really matter.

The best overall golfer in a particular week will win(driving, irons, chipping, putting)
