How did you do in seats?
« on: September 09, 2020, 11:24:56 am »

I got hosed.  I usually have a block of 5 and Choose Just 2 for 5 games.

They gave me two for the 3 game package and moved me from a lower corner to East up high in the clouds.

Probably going to pass completely now.

I only got two games (requested 5, hoped for 3), but it does look like Iíll get to stay in the South Indoor Club for those two games.

Iím going to try to pick up at least one more game somewhere.

Been a season ticket holder ever since the point system started and long before that going back to the 1980's. Granted I am not a top dollar donor.

My four are in the 500's upper deck.

So, you going to pass, or take them and resell them? Iíve seen interest on other boards on people looking for tickets.

Got mine but reduced down to two (planned on that anyways) and moved excess money to donation.

Bought soccer season tickets for the first time but havenít back from them yet.

ADD: Got info back on soccer tickets -

Quote
The 2020 Razorback Soccer season begins next week and as a season ticket holder you will have access to every match this season. This season we have moved to a mobile ticket method to create a safer and more flexible method for ticketing our events. Due to social distancing requirements inside Razorback Field, all seats will be reserved. As a season ticket holder you will be assigned a seating location in the coming dates and we will communicate that to you before the first match

Only season ticket holders and family will be allowed in - which is not surprising.  Soccer games are usually general admission so it will be interesting to see how they assign seats.  I guess they'll paint numbers on the benches.

I have 2 seats in the SEC club (N114) front row) and requested them for all 5 games. Email was for the 2 game package in the touchdown club (NF2). I was hoping to stay in the SEC club with at least 3 games so Iím not sure what Iím going to do. Also depends on the actual refund amount. The corner club seats are usually $200 less per seat so I expect that difference to be refunded....

Requested 5 games, got UGa and Bama. Dad's regular seats are SEZ, towards front of 131, brother tells me they're moved to 133 for these two, actually closer to the middle of endzone but don't know what row.

Likely both beatdowns, but at least we got the first one in case it all gets squashed again ;)

Not sure how many points you've accumulated or how much you donate but I suspect a huge majority are in your same boat. Because of that I'm not sure I'd call it getting hosed.

Yeah, I think getting 3 looks more the norm on here, than 5 games. The BM donors were limited to 12 tickets, and you know they took all of them, even if only to resell, lol.

If eveyone that didn't get what they wanted thought like that then they might as well shut down college football across the country. There are extenuating circumstances that meant nobody except a few probably were going to get exactly what they wanted. There are people that would love to go to one game their whole life and can't for different reasons yet people that are more fortunate are complaining. Give me a break.

Usually have 4 in the NEZ(TD Club). Asked for all 5 games.  Got 3 games and only two tickets, but in our same section. .  Oh well, that will be a nice chunk of change back in my pocket.

How many points earned and how much of a donation do you have to give your wife for that seat?

The seat was the easy part, the admission to the living room and control of the TV is the costly part.

Confession: I have 2 TVs in my living room.

Man, this sounds totally all over the place!

Another friend of mine, who hasn't been a season ticket holder but a few years, requested 5 and said he got 3. I can't believe some folks here got less than 3. My ticket partner gets the e-mails, so I'm still waiting to hear. I think we requested 3, because we don't kick in enough $$ for 5.

If I get 3, I'm still going to look for a Georgia ticket.

The length of being a season ticket holder really only helps you in your donation level. It would depend on the level of giving.

Agreed, I know a 1st year BM silver donor who received all 5 games in their original club section and another person who is a 30+ year big hog donor and received only 2 games and was moved from the SOC to the upper deck.

I was hoping for more opt outs but guess it did not happen. Iíve never sat in the touchdown club so that will be a fun experience in itself

Three of his seats are either row 6 or 7 I think, the other two row 18 I think. Heck, we may have already sat together ;)

No kidding. Some would complain if they got a whole suite for all the games all to themselves yet had never been in one and realized they still had to use the public restroom.

If anyone that got tickets for Georgia is interested in selling, I'd be willing to buy. We got the 3 game package but so far the Georgia game is the only announced kickoff time that doesn't conflict with my 2 1/2 year old's nap/bedtime. He's been asking to go to a Razorback football game every day!

season ticket holder since 1989, Big Hog Foundation level I asked for 2 ticket 5 game package.
I got 2 ticket 3 game package and have been moved from section 103 to section 501.
Maybe with enough opting out after getting their ticket assignment they will reassign some of the seats,
but I am in the stadium.

So, you going to pass, or take them and resell them? Iíve seen interest on other boards on people looking for tickets.

I want to clarify I am not that mad.  I figure he process has been fair to me.  I am a long time ticket buyer but not a long time donor.  Only donated when it became a requirement.  When I think about it, I Ďnow see bigger donors than me likely got bumped from their seats down to my norm seats.  Then people like me in the decent seats get bumped to worse seats.

Itís a big game of dominoes.

I am more surprised that dropping from 5 to 2 seats by design only got me 3 games.  Just doesnít equate to me.  And moving me to the East heavens after a lifetime of lower bowl is a shocker.

My curiosity now is what happens if someone that got bumped down to my old seats refuses them?  Can I get them back or another slides in them above me?  Are they going to play hopscotch all day long as people turn them down and reboot you?

I figure 5 games x 5 tickets is what I am in for.  If end up with 2 games x 3tickets Per I guess I will get a refund of 19 games.  Letís not forget we paid for 6 games but the UA cleverly simplified its pricing to 5 with better opponents.

Iím still in limbo.

We have 2 in our bedroom.

Mine has wireless headphones.
My Xbox is hooked up to the second screen in the living room.  Streaming games on there is easy and sound great in my Turtle Beach headphones.

When I'm lucky, the wife is in the bedroom and I get to have two games on at once... like the good ole days.
