Early Signing Period
« on: July 31, 2020, 09:10:29 am »

Any discussion on cancelling the early signing day and moving it all back to the traditional February? That might allow on-site visits before these kids have to make a final decision.

From an Arkansas perspective, are you for or against the early signing period long term? Obviously with our recent coaching changes it has been a big disadvantage, but I don't really see a benefit of it even in the long term with a stable coaching staff.

for it. when you get the Kid signed , you don't have to spend resources recruiting him which costs extra time and money . And you have a narrow field of players to focus on. No one is playing games then trying to steal your recruits

Too bad the early signing period could not be before the Hogs play the upcoming 10 SEC game schedule.

So, if the dead period extends through the end of 2020 will there still be an early signing period this year?

Didn't Hunter Y. say he did not believe we would have an early signing period this year? Season may still be going on.
