Other than they will play Stony Brook in 2023,  A-State AD Terry Mohajir had  nothing on scheduling this season, or in the future. Reports are that the SBC will make a decision tomorrow on where they are going.

The only OOC games on their schedule are against AAC members Memphis and Tulsa.

I still believe the Red Wolves should give the Henderson Reddies a game in the near future even though they are below 1AA.   Mainly because they are now part of the system.

Thank people would be a little skeptical they would stay in system, if they went that route. OBU is pretty tough, might not want them to go there.

It was reported that the SBC AD's would get together Friday, but nothing has been reported.

It is still assumed that A-State  will try and play 12 games and hat their games with AAC members Memphis and Tulsa are still on the schedule.

A-State players are still expected to report August 6th and first practice is August 7th.

Posters on the CSNBBS Sun Belt Conference message board are saying the reason nothing has come forth from their Friday meeting of the AD's is SBC Commissioner wanted to go with a conference only slate, but A-State, AppSt, USM and another school have dug their heels in on maintaining their OOC games.

Certainly makes sense for A-State with a home game against Tulsa, and a short bus ride to and from Memphis.

Breaking: #TXST and #SMU have agreed to move up the season opener in San Marcos from Sept. 5 to Aug. 29. Sun Belt keeping nonconference and eight-game conference schedule. Official announcement coming later today. #TXST will begin fall camp this morning.

Hopefully true and hopefully the AAC will keep their OOC game and A-State will play Tulsa and Memphis.

Would not be shocked if they add an FCS like UCA either. They apparently had a handshake agreement with Ark-Pine Bluff before the SWAC moved all games to spring.
