6'7 230 lbs forward started all 32 games. Played 30.4 mins/gm. Averaged 10/5 will be eligible right away. Solid player for sure.

There have been some years of late we could have straight up used this guy. Not sure where he would fit with this team. Was a Top 100 guy #78, and #4 in Illinois coming out of HS. Has progressively gotten better, lots of Big 10 starting experience. Will make a very nice addition for some team in need.

Anyone who wouldnít want a two-way player with this skillset and athleticism is just not very smart.

Cursory glance at this profile, I would take him and play him over Chaney and Henderson.

Still wondering if there isnít another shoe to drop up front for us.

As I'm digging closer, I don't know that it's fair for me to say I'd play him over Chaney. Maybe not even Henderson. Smith is definitely more polished and experienced than Henderson (and more experienced than Chaney), but I don't know that he'd be an immediate upgrade. And we have two years left with Chaney and Henderson, you'd think it would be better for them to get whatever minutes they can to keep developing.

Committed to Arkansas. Without a question, he adds depth with plenty of high major consistent starting experience.

Good. Averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds in a tough P5 conference. Good get. Sounds like someone will be transferring out... according to other recruiting writers

Holy smokes.  Very exciting.  Watching the IU game this past year I saw Smith and Jackson-Davis and said, "Man, I wish we had some size/skill like that."

This year's team is going to be very, very enjoyable.

Excited about this get.  Crazy athlete, a lot of experience in the Big Ten.  Justin broke IU's vertical record a couple years ago previously held by Victor Oladipo a couple of years.  48" vert at 6'7" is wild.

For comparison, Michael Qualls is 6'5" and measured a 39" vertical in the NBA combine years ago.

Seems like he'll play the "Dunker" spot that Whitt filled last year at times.  Arkansas is a match-up nightmare.
