Can't blame 'em.  3 HC's; two of them bloomin awful; the third brand new.

Good luck to the young man.  'Wish it worked out better.

Not too surprised to see him look for a new situation. Best of luck to him. I'll be interested to see where he lands. I know his dad went to Tennessee and his little brother seems very interested in the Vols, but idk what their level of interest would be

Would love to see what he could have done without the injury.  He looked electric before he got hurt.

He never seemed quite the same after the injury.  All the best to Chase.  Hope he lands where he will be the man.

I would like to wish him the best of luck. At wherever he goes. . I think this is a good sign that we're about to sign another running back.

I think he played in the first game of his freshman season, against FAMU and you're right - he looked electric that night.

Hate it he got injured. He was a four star RB.

We have one scholie to give this year.  Chase leaving doesn’t change that.

I look forward to the day when a player hits the portal and you don't have to second guess how well he could have done here if only he had better coaching or a better offensive line to run behind.  It's doubtful we'll ever know how well Hayden could have done if the stars aligned just right for him.

Best of luck to him!

What's the added value of letting us know you don't care? That just what kind of person you are?

Anybody have any idea what prompted him to transfer?  Seems like a good spot for him at Arkansas to get playing time in what will hopefully be a pretty dynamic offense next season.

The Hayden transfer has been in the works for over a year. He wanted out last spring, but was given false promises by the old staff.  I’m sure CSP has been on the up and up with him.  He just isn’t the same player after injury...

Lots of Memphis fans responding on his twitter.
Wonder if he may end up there.

I get what you're saying, but won't hitting the portal place him under the 4th HC?

Yeah, but sometimes a new place is just what the doctor ordered.

Look at David Williams. Their offensive talent was, how do I say this nicely, lacking at best.

He was a 2nd, sometimes third option on their team for three straight years. Mike Davis ended up being a 4th round pick while Williams was in his first year there, but their RB talent since then hasn't exactly been anything to write home about (much less anywhere else really).

Suddenly, he transfers here and explodes for over 800 yards and 10 td's and gets drafted to the NFL. Save his first year, no other RB's ahead of him on SC's roster were even drafted.

What a tool you are.  There is no call to say that about the young man, he has had to play for to terrible football coaches and he sees that it's probably best to move somewhere else so he can get some more playing time.

Good luck to him. Hopefully he finds a place that allows him to display his talent. Maybe he has a big year like Pettway.

I just rewatched his hs video....young man has some quick feet and good vision.  Memphis would do well to land him, regardless of his previous injury or not.

Unless he gets a waiver of some kind to play this year why would he transfer to another D1 school where he has to set a year?   He has 2 years to play 2 now.  I say he might move down so he can play 2 years.

He's a graduate transfer, which means he has his degree and he won't have to sit out.

Being a graduate transfer gives him the ability to play this fall and have two years there. If he stays, he would have to transfer and have one year somewhere else. I think it's better to go somewhere and have two years in a program than one in an essentially new program with CSP and then another somewhere else.
