should really look at Bienemy from KC.. especially with the offensive weapons Dallas already has. Cleveland should also take a hard look.

I'm predicting Jerry will still be in charge and nothing changes other than the name on the door.

4-10 playoff record

14 seasons with no playoff appearances

No NFC championship game appearances

No Super Bowl appearances

Dallas Cowboys 1966-1982

17 seasons

12 NFL/NFC Championship Game appearances

5 Super Bowl appearances

2 World Championships

1 Owner

1 General Manager (not the owner)

1 Director of Player Personnel

1 Head Coach

Those were the Dallas Cowboys most of us over the age of 40 knew and rooted for.  That organization in no way resembled what we have seen for the last quarter of a century.

It was great until Jerry decided he knew best and fired the guy responsible for his success.

Gee, that scenario seems familiar.  Where else have I seen it happen?

ESPN is reporting that the Cowboys interviewed Marvin Lewis both Friday and today.  Marvin Lewis never won a single playoff game in 16 years as a head coac.

Marvin Lewis?  Surely even Jerry is not that clueless when it comes to coaches.

Remember Jerry is looking for a coach that will do what Jerry wants.

This

Steve Young said the same thing this morning. A team needs to know who the leader is and the Cowboys know it's not the HC.   So JJ should be the HC.  paraphrased.

I ran home from church every Sunday to turn on the Cowboys at noon.  Still donít like the Steelers. Jerry is a great owner from the money side but needs to get out of the football operations part. I havenít been a huge fan of any team since he ran Jimmy off.

They are required to interview a minority

He's obviously in the minority, the almost non-existent group of NFL coaches who spent at least 16 years in the league but never won a single playoff game.

Yes, I know what you mean.  The politically correct rule had to be followed.

I don't love the McCarthy hire, but I'm warming up to it.

If Jerry can stay out of the way and let him do his job, and keep letting Stephen have the input on draft day that he's had the last couple of years, they finally might get back to the NFCCG.

Hopefully not.
