Is Oaklawn adding barns to its backside or developing an offtrack training center (ala Palm Meadows in Florida)?

Sounds great that these guys are coming to Oaklawn, but who is losing out? Will the small-timers who have been supporting the track for years suddenly find themselves on the outside looking in?

There was chatter about possibly having some area training tracks and farms be partnered to where Oaklawn provides the transportation to and from the track. I think some of the extremely small outfits are losing out somewhat but often times as the desire to run here goes up the quality does as well.  I know of a couple small trainers that are going to Sam Houston just because here they will lose everything they have in the claiming game

Robertino's win percentage goes down a lot at Churchhill . Must have better testing.

Itís incredible the percentages of some trainers here vs Kentucky.  The competition is better but not THAT much better! I know many people that will absolutely not play a moquett horse away from Oaklawn except whitmore
