...a little tough to watch, especially how the Tennessee player then starts running around the field and celebrating afterwards (not on this clip).  I suspect Tennessee fans will call it an accident...I think I am just kidding but then again I have seen Tennessee fans defend a lot of things in the past... :-\

As a vandy fan, I am not sure if this clip is 'tough to watch' of if the commentator calling the tennessee play a man is 'tough to hear'.

Seriously, there is no place for people like this person in college football.

There’s no reason he should be allowed to play in their bowl game. Yes, the entire play was bad, but his actions after the play tell you a lot about him.

SEC Network analyst D.J. Shockley wasn't shy about airing his opinion.

"This was an inexcusable action and has no place in college football," Shockley, who was the television analyst for the broadcast, tweeted after the game. "One of the worst things I’ve seen in a long time."

Shockley, during postgame on-camera analysis, said Jennings stepping on Shelton-Mosley's face was "uncalled for" and "really disrespectful."

The incident resulted in a scuffle among the teams along the sideline and on the field. Vanderbilt players came off their sideline to race across the field and join the fray. Order was restored, and neither team was penalized.

He should face assault charges... seriously.

Should go ahead and go put the cuffs on him. This is getting out of hand.

SEC announces Jauan Jennings has been suspended to start Tennessee’s bowl game

Quote
Tennessee will be playing in the postseason for the first time since the 2016 season in the coming weeks but the Volunteers will have to start the game without their leader on the field.

That’s because the SEC just announced a half-game suspension for Jauan Jennings following a sideline incident against Vanderbilt during last weekend’s game. If you missed it, one of Jennings’ cleats came in contact with a helmetless Vanderbilt player on the sideline.

“Commissioner Sankey shared his perspective on the actions in question, we had a long conversation about the matter, and we will honor the suspension.

“Jauan has been nothing but outstanding for our team and program this entire season.”

Perhaps whomever said this would have a different opinion should his head be stomped.
