--- Quote ---Vanderbilt lost a heart-breaker, 93-92 in overtime, to Richmond Thursday night.

The Commodores’ two stars both scored career highs. Aaron Nesmith had 34 points on seven 3-pointers, and Saben Lee added 24 points with eight assists.

It was a crazy finish that had to be sorted out on video review. The game was tied at 92 when Richmond stole the ball from Lee and pushed it ahead to Andre Gustavson, who missed a dunk at the buzzer.

It appeared the game was headed to a second overtime. But upon further review, a foul was called on Scotty Pippen Jr. on the missed dunk with 0.6 second remaining. Gustavson made 1-of-2 free throws to hand Vanderbilt (2-1) its first loss in coach Jerry Stackhouse’s debut season.
