Scott Van Pelt just picked the Hogs to cover for the 2nd week in a row.

But he didn't pick us to win.

If it happens, is that a moral victory too???

LOL

I'd rather get beat by 7 than 70.

I mean, according to Hunter, a loss is a loss.

I'd rather lose by 70 and win games we're expected to win versus a close loss to a good team and losing to Western Kentucky.

I would rather Gus hang 140 on us and then it settles the fact that CCM is gone.

I knew we would start seeing this....always happens when a coach is on the hot seat. I do understand but I just can't go along with that thought process.

For the record I will NEVER root against the Hogs.  Maybe I'm too idealistic but just can't go there.

Wouldn't shock me if the hogs cover. Sleepy game for Auburn.

No doubt I had rather the game at least be competitive.

At this point, it is easy to be a fan, so few expectations so I am not miserable during and after the game.

A few years ago, a win or a loss made my day and week.  Now, I just watch and if we win, it will be complete and total elation and if we lose, well....no big deal...I expected it.  I go on about my day.

Good job.  If we're eeking out a one point win vs. Coastal Carolina, that's worrisome.  If we totally blow the SJSU and A&M games but lose by only 'x' points, that's a red flag.  No true Hog fans root against them just to get a coach fired......he'll lose the gig on his own.

I'll repeat this from another thread.  Good teams win, great teams cover.  That's how I can convince myself Arkansas is still great from time to time.

Everyone should want the Hogs to win. Love or hate CCM, it should be obvious that the best case scenario would be that he becomes a great coach while at Arkansas. An upset, or two, here on out would be a great sign. Starting over may be the answer, but let’s hope it isn’t.

Sometimes rooting for a loss is really rooting for a collective improvement in the long run. I don't believe that's the case with tomorrow's game. The sooner you make the change (due to a bad loss), the sooner you get the right person in here (hopefully) to get you back to winning again.
