Hate to hear this and I always got a kick out of Wayne.  He plugged Foghorns so enthusiastically I thought he must have been a part owner.  I asked Jeff one day about it and he laughed and said, no, he's just a good customer and a super nice guy.  He was a fairly young guy wasn't he??

Wayne and Connie were so encouraging to me and my family during the aftermath of my Sons death. Just warm and loving. I don’t think they ever really knew how important they became.

Razorback Games, 🐗 Tailgates, Foghorns🍗🍻 and Hogville will never be the same. You sure left your mark..

He went to a few Hog basketball games with me and we shared a few meals at Foghorn’s where he was very particular about how he ordered his wings (sorry to repeat this post — it was on the earlier post about Wayne passing that was deleted). Will definitely miss him.

I've waited to post my thoughts, did so earlier back in the Mod's forum, but this is a particularly sad moment for me. I loved Wayne. Such a good and compassionate kind of guy. Offered me the opportunity to move in with him when I wanted to move back to NW Arkansas. Such a good guy.

Rest in peace Wayne. You will be missed.

I've been sitting here for most of today (I found out via Facebook), just absolutely gobsmacked.

While I wasn't as close to Wayne (and Connie) as most here were, I freakin' LOVED how genuine and down to earth he was.

I'm still absolutely stunned by this... nearly 12 hours after finding out. Holy....

Someone earlier pointed out that Wayne was one of the core people that brought the Hogville tailgate together... but the fact is that he really was so much more than that.

Connie, I am SO sorry you're having to go through this. Know this: We will absolutely surround you with our love and our support. Thank you for allowing him to be a part of our family.

This one is gonna hurt for a LONG freakin' time... I can't even, right now.

Never met him but I always loved the tone of his posts. Like someone said earlier, even though there is a lot of immaturity and bickering on this board - Hogville still comprises the most rabid of Arkansas fans and because of that, we're a family. A dysfunctional one, but family nonetheless. We lost a great member of the family. RIP Wayne.
