LITTLE ROCK -- The 2019-20 Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball schedule was released on Tuesday, and first-year head coach Eric Musselman's Hoop Hogs will have three non-conference road games, a sixth consecutive appearance in the SEC/Big XII Challenge, and four Saturday homes games in SEC play including Kentucky.

Arkansas tips off the season on opening day in college basketball by welcoming the Rice Owls -- the Hogs' old Southwest Conference foe -- to Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Arkansas is 102-41 all-time against Rice.

Arkansas's non-conference schedule is highlighted by road games at Georgia Tech (Monday, Nov. 25 in Atlanta), at Western Kentucky (Saturday, Dec. 7 in Bowling Green, Ky.), and at Indiana (Sunday, Dec. 29 in Bloomington, Ind.). Television coverage is listed as "TBA" on the schedule for 12 of the 13 non-conference games, although Indiana's schedule indicates the Hogs-vs-Hoosiers game will be televised on the Big Ten Network with a start time for either 6 or 8 p.m.

The Razorbacks play host to only one high-major program in the non-conference -- against TCU at 3. p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25 (ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU), at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville as part of the SEC/Big XII Challenge. Arkansas -- 2-3 in its previous five games in the Challenge -- has more wins (104) against TCU (another old SWC foe) than any other college basketball program.

Arkansas will also host four non-conference games as part of the Collegiate Hoops Roadshow -- Montana on Saturday, Dec. 16; Texas Southern on Tuesday, Dec. 19; South Dakota on Friday, Nov. 22; and Northern Kentucky on Saturday, Nov. 30. The Grizzlies and Norse are two mid-major programs that have earned multiple NCAA tournament berths in recent seasons.

Three more non-conference home games at BWA are: North Texas on Tuesday, Nov. 12; Austin Peay on Tuesday, Dec. 3; and Tulsa (the Hogs are 36-24 all-time against the Golden Hurricane) on Saturday, Dec. 14.

The Hogs will play their annual game at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock against Valparaiso on Saturday, Dec. 21.

In SEC matchups, Arkansas is set to appear on the ESPN family of networks four times with 14 more league games slated for SEC Network.

Kentucky at BWA at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, Jan. 18 (ESPN/2/U) headlines the Razorbacks' 18-game SEC slate. With a total of 9 league home games, Arkansas will host 4 of those on Saturday -- the aforementioned game vs. Kentucky; Texas A&M at 6 p.m. on Jan. 4 (SECN); Mississippi State at noon on Feb. 15 (SECN); and Missouri at noon on Feb. 22 (SECN).

The Hogs will also have SEC home games against Vanderbilt at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15 (SECN); South Carolina at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29 (SECN); Auburn at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4 (SECN); Tennessee at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26 (SECN); and LSU at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 (SECN)>

Arkansas's SEC road games are: LSU at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8 (ESPN2/U); Ole Miss at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11 (SECN); Mississippi State at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 (SECN); Alabama at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1 (SECN); Missouri at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 (SECN); Tennessee at 6 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 11 (ESPN/2/U); Florida at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18 (ESPN/2/U); Georgia at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29 (leap-year game on SECN); and Texas A&M at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 (SECN).

Home-and-away games against Tennessee and Mississippi State rotated onto the schedule in '19-20 to go with the Hogs' annual home-and-away trio of LSU, Missouri, and Texas A&M.

The SEC tournament is scheduled for March 11-15 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
