From Mondays  Press Conference.

Just bumps and bruises and everyone that played against UNLV  should be ready to go.

Starting TB Marcel Murray who did not play in the second half against UNLV is still hampered a little by an ankle injury but is listed as the starter. Anderson said they have four RBs they are comfortable with right now including Ryan Graham, who had over 100yds last week.

Did say that WR Dahu Green, who was suppose to be 100% ready to go last week but did not play, could play this week . They looked just fine without him.

Still no word on all the MIAs on offense that were suppose to be key players for this team, other than Anderson saying if they get healthy they could help. Offense seems fine now without them

Did say Georgia was a good team and they would have to play well, and Georgia not so well, for them to  beat them. Hopes they are thanking about Notre Dame not A-State.

This will get ugly early. This is the game you just hope you don't get anyone hurt and you take the paycheck and go home.

They need to step down and play P5 teams that are willing to pay the $$$$ but they have a shot at beating. UGA and Bama are no those games.

Could get ugly fast, no doubt, but you could say the same thing if they were playing about 100 FBS teams, not just A-State.

Obviously there are lots of P5's that A-State could play that they match up better with, but their formula is to play only one P5 a year, for big bucks, and there are only a few "elite" programs that can ,or will, pay what they demand ,and they tend to be very good most years.

Anderson said he likes their scheduling philosophy, and their players would rather play Alabama than Iowa State. These games are fun for them.

They don't get anymore banged up in these type games than any other. Other than a few teams like Alabama, these teams are just more athletic, skilled and faster than most teams, not  more physical. Georgia is not as physical as most think.

Fortunately A-State is solid in trenches, very physical, and has some above average players at the skill position on offense, which is a huge plus when facing an athletically superior team.

Should be a fun game.

ASU may surprise a few folks and hang in this game longer than expected.

They are certainly better than the other two teams Georgia has played.

Any P5 team that ASU has a shot at beating is NOT going to pay the Red Wolves $1.8M for the game. Talk about adding insult to injury. Could you imagine being a P5 school and getting beat by a G5 and then paying them $1.8 million on top of that?

I'm from Tennessee, so yes I can imagine how they might feel.

Yeah but they got Iowa st for a home and home.  So to me that is a better deal.

Absolutely, but not many mid to lower level P5s want to play them anywhere much less in Jonesboro. Some good P5's, even SEC teams have offered  2 for 1 deals, but A-State does not do that.

Think their AD said they would bend their rules for the Razorbacks.

Get GA to agree to doing that and they won't have to pay ASU $1.8M to travel to Athens.....

Very touching article on ESPN that I was going to provide a link to, but noticed the good folks on Hogville beat me to it on the main forum.

Here is a link to  SportsCenter about the game, and efforts to honor Wendy.

Also on Finebaum : "I miss [Wendy] every minute of every day, and that's not gonna change -- maybe not forever, definitely not for a while. But it fills my heart to know that people are seeing what we stood for, how we lived and that God carried us through."
