For anyone who might be interested, the Arkansas State Library at 900 W. Capitol Ave in Little Rock, has three display cases showcasing nine of the in-state college football programs.

Schools included in the display are: Arkansas Razorbacks, ASU Red Wolves, UCA Bears, SAU Muleriders, UAM Boll Weevils, Harding Bison, Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys, Henderson St Reddies and Ouachita Baptist Tigers.

Two-hour parking on the street is free, and the display is on the 1st floor of the building, at the corner of W. Capitol and Chester St.
The display will be up through early December.

In clicking through the pictures on their page I find it interesting that all of the smaller schools (OBU, Henderson, Tech, etc.) share a case.  A-State shares a case with UCA.  The Hogs get a case all to themselves.  IMHO, it shows the proverbial pecking order of football colleges in the state.

although the razorbacks are and will be our favorite, its great that these other schools offer football programs giving a lot of kids a chance to play at a higher level after high school that might not otherwise get a chance... and also local support for the schools...

I find it interesting when covering teams in the state, UAPB seems to always be left out like here. Even on local news or sports sites for the state. It'l show Arkansas, ASU, UCA, and maybe the D2 schools all in their own category. Never UAPB, who's also D1 FCS like UCA.

I noticed that, too, and was surprised. But then, maybe they never sent them any stuff to display.

Cool that Arkansas, Arkansas St, and UCA all have won national titles.
