Scenario ---  Hammonds on a jet sweep . 2 Db's to beat and Burks is the blocking Wide out . With his strength he gets a piece of both and Hammonds goes to the house . Or it could just as easily be a quick out to Jones and let Burks block the Db's . Same result

Watched a video of Burks blocking today and it's obvious the big boy is ready for the College Game. He's just the total package and his teammates seem to love the kid.

I really believe his been ready for the college game since he was a sophomore in high school. But maybe that's just me.  I've seen all the great ones come out of Warren. I knew Bret Smith was special as a sophomore, but this kid was better at the same level.

By far has the potential to be the best product to come out of Warren, Arkansas.

agreed.... hes just different. Hes been the best high school player the last 4 years. Never been on a football field where he wasnt the best on it, obviously until now. The sad thing for all of you guys is you will never get to see him play defense... lol

I did. Last year at the game in NLR and he mainly played D the whole game. Seems like a couple of punt returns maybe and a few offensive plays. He was unstoppable on D. Sideline to sideline nearly unblockable..

He was on pace for a 50 td season until his ACL injury... something like every 3-4 times he had the ball in his hands was a TD...hes the type of kid you wish you could clone to play a couple positions on offense and defense..lol

I think the best part of the article was when Burks  said Special teams is a big thing to me. Just because I play on the offense doesn’t mean anything. I play anywhere that Coach puts me. I take everything seriously. I’ll give effort anywhere the put me, it could be D-line or O-line, I’ll still put out the effort.... kid is just an old school type football player... wants to play every snap of every game anywhere you need him!!! I think this class has a lot of guys like that!!
agree 100%

The good news about that is that, if we have 3 guys ahead of Treylon, we got some SHO-NUFF BALLERS!

I agree. I hated every tomato known to the world working in them during High School.  Now that I'm old I look forward to a delicious Bradley on a BLT or with just a little salt and pepper.

Not trying to derail but they are worth mentioning.  I can't find any now and I caught a sad.

Stunna is killing me with all this. I really want to see this kid play. I truly hope he is all that you guys say. It will be a lot of fun to watch him grow even more.

Makes it that much better that he seems to be such a great kid. Hope he has a long and successful career.

Treylon Burks and Trey Knox are making plays now. We are counting on them now, not a matter of time, it's right now. Mike Woods, Tyson Morris and Jordan Jones are 3 other WRs who are making strong impressions

With the injury to Stewart, looks more likely that Treylon will be the punt return guy.

Same here, he is bigger and still the fastest RB we have. The interviews I’ve seen he has his head on straight now. Kid may blow up this season.

Would be cool to see TJ doing some motion stuff like Felix used to with Boyd running the ball and with these soon to be special young men on the outside giving more options than the defense can cover... at least that sounded good in my head.  ::hornsdown::

Go Hogs!!!!!

I keep hearing Jordan Jones name quite a bit from coaches AND other players in the interviews... maybe he's ready to show out!
