College Football TV Schedule

Here it is again in all it's glory.  The grand dame of links showing date, time, channel for all college football games.  Format hasn't changed in over 10 years, but it is a simple, straightforward thing of beauty and an invaluable resource.

It's never too early to start planning your day for week 0.  I'm sure everyone would appreciate it getting stickied.

But it doesn’t say what channel. Where does it say what channel the game is on?  Never mind. I’ll start a thread.

Leave it to a puke-eye lover to worry about channel. Almost as bad as an Aggie.

Yep every year a month or so before the season I start peeking at it.  Not even so much for the Razorback games but all the other CFB matchups from the epic battles, to the obscure, to the mismatches and everything in between.

I think last year or the year before some SWAC game was one of the first.   Did I watch it like a junkie looking for a fresh vein, yes yes I did.

Will I watch Samford at Youngstown State?  Bo Pelini is all the reason I need.

That's what I do, also - I go through the weekend list of games during the week and copy/paste the games I most want to see in a word document - Teams-Time-Network, so on Saturday I'm set. I watched that SWAC game, too - Football Junkie! I don't care whose playing, I just love a good game.

Woooo Bo Pelini! What a lovely chap! :) That's must see TV right there. ;D

Speaking of OTA antenna usage:

What has happened to the signal strength of KARK and KATV as of late?  I used to get both with an inside OTA antenna just fine, but during a recent search of OTA stations, the signal strength for both has dropped significantly.  Are either (or both) operating on reduced power?

With respect to KTHV, I've never been able to receive them OTA with an indoor antenna and I was told this was due to the fact they were still running in a portion of the frequency range that limits their signal strength.

Anyone know a bit more about either or both of these situations?

Get ya an antenna.

I would recommend this to anyone that can get a signal.  If you aren't sure just go buy one at Walmart hook it up and try it out.  If you can't get anything take it back.  There are some websites out there where you can put in your zip and see where the transmitters are and what your signal strength should be.

This is a good one.  https://www.tablotv.com/tools/

What type of antenna are you using?  Funny I'm in NWA and had the same thing happen with KNWA, our NBC station.  Used to be my strongest now it's hit or miss.

I have two TV's with OTA antennas:
GE HD Pro Bar 200 - rated for 55 miles
Terk - Indoor Flat Amplified HDTV Antenna - Black

According to the TERK website, I should be less than 30 miles from all of the LR stations.

I have the same issue with KARK and KTHV, it started after a really bad storm a few months ago got better after a few days but not nearly as good as it was before.

I've got a little bit different set up.  I bought a small indoor/outdoor antenna and hung it in my attic which is pretty high up.  My cable wiring went through there so I just run the coax from the antenna to the cable splitter and then can use antenna for all TVs in the house.  I know the higher up the antenna is the better.  I also use an amplifier box.  It doesn't make the signal any stronger but it helps when you are running multiple TVs off the same antenna.

Ironic because that's when our signal for KNWA started to weaken after an electrical storm back in April or May.  I thought maybe it effected wiring or equipment I have but it was only the channels on KNWA's transmitter that seemed have the issue.

Yeah, I thought the storm probably damaged the transmitter and they “patched” it but still haven’t “repaired” it.

I still think it's crazy that some of us have lived in north central Arkansas all of our lives and we cannot watch Arkansas TV stations over the air. I do like Springfields weather coverage but I would like to be able to watch Arkansas TV stations newscasts as well.

Since I live on the panhandle of Florida with no mountains. I took a satellite dish down and mounted an RCA small yagi antenna and get stations in Florida and Mobile. Have other resources for SEC Network.

It’s put out by an LSU fan but there is nothing pro LSU about the page outside of maybe the color scheme.

The dude has been doing it for years and it’s a great, comprehensive resource

I believe KTHV signal will be better received on a VHF antenna. The channel 11 frequency is a little  out of range for the UHF antenna. I added the VHF to my setup after I could not get channel 10 out of Springfield, MO. I have a pole mounted set up with a Channelmaster rotor and booster. The booster allows the two antenna to be combined. The booster is a must if you are on the outer edge of the signals.

One of my favorite sites of any kind and the final word on CFB schedules.
They've been doing this for years.  Nobody keeps up with the developing game info better than these guys.
I've already gone through the whole season's schedule, putting games I'm interested in on the calendar - then weekly throwing in the game times/channels.
