I tend to believe AC's side of this, never struck me as a grass dealer. That it's going to trial is kinda unique, I hope
he has a good lawyer, gets off, and finds a new team for this year.

Unless you know him personally (which you may), why does he "not strike you as a grass dealer"?

Unless you know him personally (which you may), why does he "not strike you as a grass dealer"?

he could be, it just seemed he had zero off field problems here in 4 years, was eager to do charity work in both NFL cities he had been in, learned Irish dancing from a 10 y/o girl?, always seemed to speak so intelligently, positive and upbeat.

I don't know him in any way, but that doesn't read like a drug dealer's profile to me, He didn't seem like a bad dude to me at all.  I don't claim to know anything.

I’ll just say this... I went to school with Alex at Arkansas and he showed up numerous times throughout his career to my fraternity’s parties while I was DD’ing and party marshalling, the allegations do not surprise me at all.

We should have known from the beginning......

"Three Razorbacks -- running back Alex Collins, cornerback Cornelius Floyd and receiver Jojo Robinson -- did not arrive early enough for a meeting Thursday and combined to carry a heavy sponge mattress around the practice field during the early portion of practice, monitored by strength and conditioning coach Ben Herbert."

"Never struck me as a grass dealer."

He probably isn't.  Was caught with a few ounces, probably just gives it to his friends.  The issue of concern here, (IMO) is possessing the gun while driving under the influence.  Absolutely nothing wrong with having some MJ, but shouldn't operate your vehicle while impaired, especially not with a gun.

Can second this. He was always nice, but I can see it.

Very unlikely he was dealing

But what does any of the above have to do with someone who may or may not smoke pot?

Guys making $700k carrying 5 ounces of weed aren't selling $10 envelopes. They are bringing weed to a party. What I hate to see is Alex doubling down on his penchant for fraternity partying and using short lived NFL paychecks to take it up a notch. Skills deteriorate in a hurry when you are partying all night and not being serious about what you put into your body. Too many guys in the NFL are serious about their craft and serious about their desire to get paid......couple that with RB's being a dime a dozen and he might have cashed his last NFL check. Hopefully, "if" he gets another chance he will take it serious instead of being a partier. Odds are that chance won't come.

There are studies out there that say post workout marijuana use is beneficial. Not necessarily smoking it...and I'm not saying AC was using it 'post workout' - but anyhow...

The weed is the last thing I would be concerned about him putting in his body. Drinking yourself into oblivion, gorging on fast food and being a world class athlete usually has a short shelf life.

I didn't know he did that too...damn just think of how good he COULD have been if he would have taken things a bit more seriously

I agree ...fast food and alcohol are FAR more harmful than marijuana.

My guess is this gets pled down to misdemeanors only.  Based on the limited facts I think a prosecutor might not want to go forward with a trial.  Who knows though.

owning a silencer is legal if you apply for the tax stamp. 200 dollars and you can have a very quiet AR 15.

I'm old and no longer hip. What is DD’ing and party marshalling ?

It’s a suppressor not a silencer.

I just read that he recently broke a leg, and had surgery. Too bad, it seems doubtful that he’ll get another chance this season.
