We started out with cans/metal bottles last year, then later on they said if you go outside, pour it in this cup.

Texas is all cans it appears

Sorry, I have never been to a major college football venue that sold any alcohol. I can tell you NFL and Major league baseball venues don't do that anymore that I go to.  I have seen almost everything going to both every year for the last 45 years.

After you threw a few from the fancy seats, they decided it was a safety issue.

They only had 11 people arrested at UT home games last year....obviously not many 'idiots' like to throw full cans of expensive (or inexpensive) beer.

I assume the fans att RRS would probably slap the shiite out of this person before turning him over to security. At least on the upper west side...fans tend to regulate each other when things get crazy - then security takes over.

I've been going to football games for 45 years and beer was sold to anyone of age at every one of them.  Fans today are on Prozac compared to the old days, much better behaved when drinking.  And yes self policing works well......

Yurachek on alcohol sales on the Buzz: "We'll walk before we run, starting with football. We'll see how that goes and then we'll see if we do it at Bud Walton and Baum-Walker. It's not a done deal yet."
Said they're reviewing a proposal with the Chancellor #WPS

Several schools have come out and stated their policy on alcohol sales but South Carolina had yet to publicly announce anything until Tuesday.

According to South Carolina, ďThere will be no changes to alcohol sales policies at Williams-Brice Stadium for the 2019 season, University of South Carolina Athletics Director Ray Tanner announced today.Ē
