The call of the last play by Phil Elson.

Love this. Turn volume up.

This is great. They made a video of the last play called and this time it is not edited, well maybe a bit.

If I may be so bold as to compare, that may have been Phil's Paul Eels moment ...

I’ve got to say... when Chuck stepped away from baseball, I thought the broadcast would take a step back... completely wrong. Phil and Bubba are an amazing call. Phil’s energy and ability to paint the picture with his voice, and Bubba’s behind the scenes insight and color are a wonderful duo. Really enjoy their call.

We'll have to both be forgiven because I think so too. I also think Paul would have thought so.

We are lucky to have landed Phil Elson calling our baseball games. He is a wonderful voice of baseball!

Nice to put a face with the voice. I never took the time to look him up but that's not how my mind pictured him. He does an amazing job and we couldn't ask for any one better.

Inspired by Phil's last play call, I'm sure.  #TheWholeDamnThing

Saw it on Twitter, but they didn't say where to buy one.

Phil had called a couple of games when Chuck started doing radio for basketball as well and I thought he was excellent.  When Chuck stepped away, I said our search should include only Phil Elson and we brought in a special talent.  He does a great job of calling games and is gifted at it.

We are also lucky to have Brett Dolan as our SECN+ guy.  He was the Astros TV PBP guy in the past and also does a fantastic job.

I agree, but here's hoping he has a bigger call in about a week and a half.

I love listening to Phil and Bubba. Tomorrow I'll have the game on tv, radio, and hogville. I doubt my wife will mind. After all, it is Omaha

They’re great.  It’s amazing that the radio crew we have for baseball is far and away the best and most professional of the three major sports.  Paul Eels was great but the radio personnel has been kind of lacking since we lost Paul.
