Hog SB unsurprisingly run rules UAPB

10-0 decision in 5 innings. Storms pitched the first 3 innings, Graves the final 2. It was the first time I have seen Graves throw this season. She throws very hard and has some good pitches, but she does struggle some with control. She faced five batters in the 4th inning and her line was BB - K - BB - K - K. She got some help from a couple injudicious swings on bad pitches from UAPB batters, but honestly her velocity doesn’t give the hitter too much time to decide. The 5th inning, she got a K, a ground out, and then a pop out to finish the game. Storms had 0 BB, 2 K, and gave up 3 hits in her stint, and she was awarded the win.

The offense was led by a pair of 2-run dingers from Bugarin (her second in the last two games) and McEwen. Those two, along with Parr, all had multi-hit games.

Exactly the kind of win you would want against a weak opponent.

LSU comes to town on Thursday evening for a 3 game set. This will be an important series. The Tigers were supposed to have a down year this year following the graduation of their two All-American pitchers, Hoover, and Walljasper, but they have had a surprising offensive surge and better-than-expected pitching from their less experienced arms.

Hope we come out ready to compete and defend the home field! WPS!

We will be tested this weekend . We have a good chance to shock LSU just need the bottom of our line up to hit. And with green ,Edwards, and now bugarin starting to swing it good we have a chance .
