Watch the #18 pick up victory #4

Pickers were favoring the JGR teams going into this race.

If your not driving a JGR or Penske car, your just running laps.

I'm actually enjoying the race cause at least there is always lapped traffic to get around. We have so many mile and a half and 2 mile tracks that over the years we have become conditioned to every track not being Martinsville.

Harvick and Bowyer have been hanging near the front but neither of them has been a serious contender yet.  Glad to see Bowyer running strong.

Which is the whole problem with NASCAR. It has had nothing to do with the "best driver" winning and its been that way  for frickin' years if ever. It is all about who is lucky enough to be in the best equipment.

So... if we are not going to dump bigger tracks for more short tracks then frickin' put on the restrictor plates to even em all out and let the best plate drivers battle it out each week. I'll watch that shiit !!!

Well...enjoying is a strong word. I'm tolerating it. But I have about 14 oz oz of rum in me. 3rd place is 2.5 sec back. 5th place is 8 sec back. Sooooo......   kind of boring especially for one of NASCAR's short tracks

Seriously NASCAR. Look at the empty seats last week at Beistol and now at Richmond.

You want popularity, big crowds and TV ratings  I think we need weekly wreck festivals. Look at the action video games young folks spend their time on. You are competing with that shiit. Hell even my old ass want to see some action

This aero BS is ridiculous.  They make catching look easy, but passing look impossible, even at a short track.  Nascar deserves all those empty seats.

Cut the top half of the spoiler off, get rid of the splitter, and wish everyone the best of luck.

Give Joey an A for effort. MF goes hard for it. Just can't overcome the aero

The aero stuff has been the downfall of NASCAR.  It's becoming apparent they are determined to fall on that sword.  Why not put everyone in identical cars and only allow modifications to springs and shocks.  Surely that would lead to more competitive racing.

It was a problem before the dreaded Car of Tomorrow experiment.  The geniuses running the sport went all in with safety and wanted cars that were nearly impossible to spin, rather than cars that were safer in the event of a crash.  Taller spoilers, wider fenders, line the bumpers up, etc etc etc.

Now they have super-safe cars, yet they keep adding more downforce and drag.  The balance is great for a single car, but it gets so fubar'd in single-file traffic.  They don't seem to actually know "what the fans want".

I thought the last 50 laps where good, just wish the 22 would've dumped the 19. That would've gave everyone something to talk about.
