If you head about 60 miles south on I49,then 140 miles east on I40 you'll hit Little Rock.  Theres some good food there, better than the slop found in NWA.  Wherever you decide to eat at, tell them Rudy baylor sent you

What kind of food are you talking, and whereabouts?  Fayetteville vs. Rogers vs. Garfield are all going to have different answers.

Get your post count up to 50 and you will have access to the tavern.  You will catch a little crap there, too, but you'll get some actual answers and a little more viewership in that forum.

I did, 4 stars for McDonald's on Weddington seems a little low, so I was hoping to get some better solutions from the forums.

I moved away from NWA last summer, unfortunately, but if you're still looking for suggestions:

Hammontree's on West is great place for a sandwich.

Hugo's has an awesome blue cheese burger

Mojo's pints and pies was my favorite pizza place. They have 1/2 price pies one night of the week (maybe Wednesday?)

Lucky Luke's is a hole in the wall BBQ place that is pretty decent, but their wings are really good. They are also on special one night of the week.

Emelia's on Dickson is a good date night spot.

Southern Food Company has a great breakfast/brunch menu

Grubs downtown for cheese fries, JJ's for any other bar food. Pro-tip: the JJ's on Weddington is usually a lot less crowded.

Outside of Fayetteville:

There's a lot of chains along I49, obviously, but past that, AQ in Springdale is a classic. Mont Ne Inn is also a great place for a family style chicken dinner.

Mama Z's and Venetian Inn are both good Italian places.

If you're looking for good tacos or really any kind of authentic Mexican food, just drive down 71 through Springdale and stop at any one of the dozens of taquerias you'll drive past.

 Venetian Inn in Tontitown

I agree with both these choices.  Hugo's has the best burger in town, period plus their order of fries will feed a family of 4.

I haven't been to the Venetian Inn in a couple years but I really like the place.  Spaghetti is great, the steaks are as well and I always buy a dozen rolls to take home.  It has gotten a little pricey.

For the most part, I get what you're saying here. I'd just as soon have Papa Johns than most of the pizza places in Fayetteville. BUT if you haven't had Mojo's, you're missing out.

Do you like Raduno's in LR?

Seriously true.  What IS the deal with pies in NWA.  Nobody there knows how to make a good pizza.  Its so bad that Twist is stalking some old man that has to work at a C-store making calzones just to afford rent.

NWA has only not been toothless hillbilly cousin bangers for 25-30 years.  It takes time to develop culture.  You canít just import it in from Dallas no matter how much you want to.  These arenít undergrads.
