Ledgestone golf course in Branson
« on: March 11, 2019, 09:05:18 pm »

How many here have played this course? I am giving strong thought to going up and playing it sometime this spring on a 2-3 day road trip. Never played the course before but after watching the flyover videos of the 18 holes off of their website I am thinking there will be several holes where the driver stays in the bag simply to be sure of placing the ball where I need it as distance will not be a big issue since it is relatively short from the Sr tees. A few of the holes looked pretty dangerous to the livelihood of your golf ball if you got overly aggressive off the tee. (might wanna bring a extra dozen balls) But overall it appears to be a nice course. For the rates they want in the spring/summer it better be. ($80-110.)

Gold tees: 6881
Blue tees: 6420
White tees: 5873
Green tees: 5195 (Sr.)

I played it a couple years back after what seemed like 2 months of rain. Balls were plugging in fairways and cart path only.  Course absolutely kicked my butt.  Would love to play it where you got a little roll

It's a typical Branson course. Lots of hills and ravines. Many places to lose golf balls if you're not on your game.
#10 used to be crazy, built totally on the side of a hill. But they rebuilt it.
It's fun to play. Zoysia fairways.
The finishing stretch is great. #15 is a signature hole par-3 which is a steep drop from tee to green. Pretty view.
Then #16 comes down the hill even more.
