Someone will get a bargain with Campbell if he goes that low.

Jackson Rutledge also on the list as a potential 3rd round pick.

I could see Campbell and Kostyshock both potentially be guys who could see their stock rise as the season goes along.  A lot of Kostyshock's ranking has to do with his potential.

Interested to see how this year shakes out for Jack Kenley. He’s on no ones radar so he could have a solid season and still not get drafted very high and maybe come back for his SR year. If he comes back 2020 gets really interesting because your whole infield is on campus right now(Boulware at 2B) and you would only lose Dom in the OF. I think this year is going to be fun with some growing pains in between making at run at trying to make a Super. But man 2020 is shaping up to be a repeat of last season as far as returning talent at all positions and on the mound.

I could easily see Vermillion work his way into high round consideration next year.  Big time arm with excellent potential.

I really wish I was as sold on Campbell being our ace as most everyone else.  I know he has potential to be a superstar but he is SO inconsistent. Blaine probably didn’t have the raw talent but he was the epitome of consistency. Hopefully he’ll gets some confidence early and go on to a 10+ win season and prove me wrong.

I personally agree with this sentiment... but the hope/formula (to me) is that

1. The offense is real and able to put runs on the board

2. Campbell, even if you’re down on him, will have some outings where he’s as dominant as anyone in the country.

3. You only need the starters to go six innings a game on the weekend. Then you have nine innings between vermillion, Kostyshock, scroggins/Ramage, Cronin, burton, Henry, etc

Even if Campbell is no better than last year (and I expect for him to make a sizeable jump even if I question the Friday night ace role), he was great for 4-5 innings an outing. Getting to 6 shouldn’t be hard and I am hopeful he’ll do even better.

If Campbell can be consistent out of the stretch like he is in the windup, then things will be very promising for him in the next MLB draft.
