Good Reading for a Dedicated Hog Fan
« on: January 11, 2019, 12:24:24 pm »

Today's Tulsa World Sports front page contains an article by Bill Haisten detailing the transition from the 3 year run of HC John Blake who went 12-22, but did increase winning each year to the high energy mostly rookies who took over with Bob Stoops who was, himself, a rookie HC.  Oklahoma won the NC in Stoops 2nd year.

As usual, I don't know how exactly to easily get you to this very good article but you might try bill.haisten@tulsaworld.com.

Muskogee, do your thing and save me here.  Tell Hogville how best to obtain this article for reading.

Only two sports journalists really understood the Arkansas Razorbacks football program.  Orville Henry and Bill Connors of the Tulsa World.  I really miss them both.

Mr. Connors also understood Sooner football better than anyone.
