Lamar Jackson

What a stunningly awful performance.  With about 13 minutes to go in the 4th quarter the Ravens had 6 yards passing.

After that a Chargers DB thought he had safety help and let a receiver go right by him for a TD, then another jumped too soon on a dying quail and let an interception go over his head for a long gain, but it was a putrid performance that was capped off by yet another fumble to seal a Chargers win.

Two things...this isn't college, and a QB isn't going to be able to make a career out of outrunning defenses.  Two...Jackson's short career, both college and pro, has been marked by crucial turnovers late in games.  It happened twice at the end of the year that Louisville was in contention for the playoff, once against Kentucky.  His ball security when running is not secure in any way.

And he was a first round pick.

He did play a lot better in the 4th but too little too late.

Will be similar to Vick.  Probably end up getting injured next season and not playing a full season in his entire career.  Will be fun to watch sometimes though.

Passing quarterbacks win Super Bowls.  In the NFL quarterbacks pass and running backs run.

and this is why I was never worried about the Ravens playing the chiefs again.
