He probably has to make the tournament next year, and maybe even make it to the second weekend. However, all of that depends on match ups.

I say if he finishes below 7th in sec play and doesn't make the dance, both sides part ways.

I think if he can have 1 more season without a losing record it will cement his induction into the Hall of Fame.

How many winning conference records?    How many years of padding his records with lesser opponents?     How does he do against competition in his class?

Yes truly cementing his legacy. Because he's on the same level as Tom Izzo, Mark Few. etc. Get out of here

Pretty easy to do when you schedule cupcakes for your non-conference.

I can't think of another coach that isn't considered a TOP tier coach with those type of numbers.  I'm happy for Mike. I pray our fanbase can hold on a little longer and don't let go of the rope.  Help IS on the way!

Just go ahead and make the bronze statue guys.  Be sure and capture his many fiery expressions.  Maybe with him about to lose his jacket because of a young player needing motivation on the road, one of his signature moves.  At the bottom put, "made the tourney 2 times in 3 years".  That way all his fans will remember the highlight of his legacy.

I salute you ... It takes one hell of an optimist to hang over the edge of the abyss for 8 years and continue to think help is on the way.

He has literally finished in the Top 25 once. What help our you talking about? Don't say Justice Hill, the 500th guard on the roster, who should play football anyways

The only help I see coming is old age.  Mike probably won't live more than another 20-25 years.

Then we can finally get a new coach.

Let him go or give him a definitive expectation that if he doesnít meet heís gone. Either way itís time to see consistent winning outcomes. If not letís try something new.

Justice Hill is a big time player who will be instant impact. That is why Mike offered him and had to beat out all those other schools to sign him.

LOL keep thinking that. I'm sure he'll have the same impact Ethan Henderson did Freshman year. Every person from Christian that's ever played with the guy says he should play football

How many seasons does this make for Mike to NOT win the SEC?

How many seasons does this make for Mike to NOT win the SEC Tournament?

How many seasons does this make for Mike to NOT make the NCAA Tournament?

How many seasons does this make for Mike to settle for the NIT and then win ONE game?

How many seasons does this make for Mike to do just enough to keep his job?

Simply not losing half your games certainly isnít winning.... or is it? If it gets you contract extensions then embrace the mediocrity.

Yup and for fan interest it ranks right up there with Hootie's ability to win against group of five football teams.  Now where did The Carpetbagger hide that key to the golden handcuffs?

He did finally get a sweet 16 this year. Next year, maybe we zero in on a CBI elite eight run and the year after we make run at the CBI title.
