Was MSU the worst 5 seed of all the 5 seeds in the tournament?

Wisconsin was pretty bad and Oregon exposed them

Dude!!!   You are off your rocker.   MS st has no business being a 4 seed.   You donít lose in the first round and make the case you should have been a higher seed.  Dumb

State beat Wofford this season.

What if Wofford wins against Kentucky?

Won't look good for the SEC if Kentucky loses to a team that State won against.  After all, Kentucky did finish better in the conference standings than State.

He still is one of the best coaches in the country.

Liberty is the best 12 seed out of all of the 12 seeds in this year's tournament.

4 years at State:
78-56 overall
32-40 conference
1 NCAA tourney
0 NCAA tourney wins

He WAS a good coach. Now heís an average to below average(especially with the roster this year) HC in the SEC.

Based on their resume, State probably should have been a 4 seed.

They had 8 Quad 1 wins.

They won against Cincinnati and Wofford in back-to-back games.

They won against Saint Mary's, who ended up beating Gonzaga.

We beat LSU who beat Kentucky, who beat Tennessee, who beat Gonzaga, who beat Duke....dang Iím convinced we should be in and a 1 seed!

Ben Howland truly is an interesting case.

From the 2001-2002 season through the 2007-2008 season, at Pittsburgh and UCLA, he made two Sweet 16s at Pittsburgh and three Final Fours at UCLA including one season as the national runner-up.  However, from the 2008-2009 season through the 2018-2019 season (with a two season hiatus) he hasn't made it past the first weekend of the tournament and has missed the tournament all together four times in nine seasons.

Yeah howland an davis both took it in chin, fans always think grass greener on other side. Neither coach is better than Mike.
Oh I disagree with that....Howland is for sure. Davis jury is still out....Howlands resume blows MA away.

What if UK beats Wofford without PJ Washington? Will you then admit MSU should it have been a 5 seed?

It is true about UCLA     they were dirty in the late 60s    Heck  go read the LA Times article " The dark side of UCLA basketball"   I think they had a writer nominated for a Pulitzer for writing a similar article and Papa Sam and how he took care of players for years.

1 in 4 years? With actually better recruits and cheating

How do you know their cheating? Because they work harder to get better players then our coaching staff? Not every team that recruits better cheat. They just work harder and are better at it.

They 100% paged Reggie Perry 300k to go there on the adidas trip, everybody knows this, even Kevin.

So you know that for certain he was paid? And it wasn't the staff laziness that caused him to flip?

Certain people have made certain comments to make it seem very likely he was paid.

Remove any agenda and I think most would say the perry situation was very odd and certainly lines up with maybe a coercement.

To me that sounds like 2019 college basketball. If you don't want to get your hands dirty a little for the best players then get out of Division 1 basketball. There is plenty of D2 schools Mike and staff can coach on.

But I forgot, some still think the FBI will change that. In stead of focusing on terrorism and human and drug trafficking.

Mike wonít get his hands remotely dirty.  I respect him for that.

I think the perry situation rumored to be 300k isnít getting hands dirty.  That amount of money is why FBI is sniffing college basketball.  FBI and IRS get interested when the govt starts to get short changed 100k or more.  Remember that.  They donít care about a 2,000 under table payment because the taxes missed are minimum.   Taxes escaped on 300k for just one player on a team with probably others... sniff time

Howland is 4-1 against Anderson.

Neither Anderson nor Howland is that good anymore.  Neither coached very well this year.  One could say they both sucked, but Howland sucked with much better players.  Top eight players for both teams, who would you pick?  I would pick Gafford and 7 bulldogs.

I'm pretty sure GoHogs1091 is a gimmick account; at least it's a lot more entertaining to read its posts that way.

Looks like you ur stupid hypothetical didnít come through.  Wofford lost to ky, didnít cover the spread, all the while Ky was missing their best player.

Donít ever try to use Wofford as your proof that Ms st or Howland proved anything.  That is quite possibly the dumbest thing on this forum ever

If Perry had $300,000 he would have a phone not a pager.  I would think if Adidas paged or paid $300k it would be in the FBI report.

Anderson beat only 2 good teams this season, LSU and Providence.
