I asked #Hokies Buzz Williams about reports Texas A&M could be interested in him: "I've never commented on jobs. I don't think that's appropriate by our kids. ... I can't control what people say. I've got to make sure I'm doing my best with these guys."

Troy set to hire Scott Cross as basketball coach

Quote
Cross replaces Phil Cunningham, who was fired earlier this month after six seasons. The Trojans won the 2017 Sun Belt tournament championship and advanced to the NCAA tournament

Phil Cunningham was a long-time assistant to Rick Stansbury at State. His father coached Stansbury in college.

Mike Anderson is finalizing a deal to become the next head coach at St. John's. STORY @SInow: https://bit.ly/2vbFulZ  #SJUBB

Quote
Red Storm have struggled to find a replacement for Chris Mullin, who stepped down as St. John's coach on April 9 after four seasons and two NCAA tournament appearances.

Former Louisville coach Rick Pitino reportedly reached out to St. John's about the vacancy, but the school did not appear interested.
