Thanks, can't wait to see them play!

flagstaffhog:

Go HOGS Go!

liljo:

Gonnabe exciting watching these young men doing their thing.

pigzwillrise:

Nash hasn’t been talked about enough. He’s going to be able to make plays.

Have heard from the inside to not expect a lot from Nash this year just based on his performance in ROA and some 7 on 7 stuff, but time will tell as he has yet to even go through spring ball. I have also heard that Knox is even better than advertised, and Mike Woods is our #1 guy. I think Nash has the tools to become an elite receiver here, and I really hope he does, but personally, I don't expect him to contribute a whole lot in 2019.

nchogg:

I liked some of the things Woods did last year. Look forward to seeing how the new receivers come around. Go Hogs!

Tejano Jawg:

Knox and Nash…can't wait.

I'm sure there's been a thread on who the early enrollees are. Looking at my CBS Sports feed (other than those 2)—
-DE Mataio Soli
-DE Zach Williams
-DE Eric Gregory
-DB Gregory Brooks
-DB Devin Bush
-QB Ben Hicks

Others?

sickboy:

Dang. Already saying Knox has a future at the next level. That's exciting.

jgphillips3:

Knox and a 100% healthy Burks are the real deal.  They are the kind of freak stud athlete the Alabama's and Clemson's of the world always have.  I know it remains to be seen if Burks can play this year or not but next year, they will be darn near unstoppable on 50/50 balls.  Then with Henry at the TE position and the other receivers we have...man...it's going to be fun again in the passing game.

I actually had nash pegged as the one with the lowest ceiling. I expect both him and TQ to red shirt this year. TQ is very raw, but has the size and speed to be just as unstoppable as knox or burks. He may not have quite the ceiling they have, but once he gets the nuances of being a reciever down he will be just another freak weapon of ours.

#1 STUNNA:

Im ready to watch Burks in the short yardage package instead of the steamboat..lol

liljo:

Arkansas’ future: Big play offense putting up mega-points. Big play defense disrupting long drives and creating turnovers. Solid special teams.

Gonna be fun to watch.

Have heard from some people in the Burks campaign that morris has said he will have some type of wildcat/ short yardage package.

Just my opinion, but I don't see ANY of the 4 FR WRs redshirting unless Burks can't go due to the knee or one gets hurt. This staff likes big WRs and Koilan Jackson is really the only returning one with that kind of size with the departure of Pettway.

Based on what I saw on the tape of Nash yesterday, he will not redshirt IMO.

Porkys Revenge:

Knox made quite an impact here.

EDIT: Twitter says it's Greg Brooks.

I felt like Brooks hung in there for a good bit, considering the size mismatch. I know Bush is a little bigger, would like to see him up against Knox. Iron sharpens iron.

yep.. knox did what he shouls have done with a 40lb advantage... hopefully our older receivers are taking notes.

We will have two NFL receivers in Burks and Knox at the VERY least. 1A and 1B. It's going to mean WINS at the end of the day if a QB can get it to them.

Both are unlike any receivers we have ever signed in my opinion. Both are physical freaks that can both do so much offensively to create mismatches.

Grown men

Rock City Razorback:

I also don't expect Nash to have a major impact. But it can't be understated how valuable it was for him to have gone to a school like IMG last year and enrolled early for spring ball. He was not depended on much at IMG, but he was required to block a lot, and you have to have a certain mentality for that. This kid has just that, and he brings it! Has good speed, has good size for someone in the slot, not sure about hands.

We are going to see how bad last year's WRs ditched on the team.  These kids are amazing talents.

yep the new kids will get a lot of play... they are just on a different level athletically and size wise for the most part.
