Seminole Indian:

Looks like A-State and UCA are having solid years, but to early to tell about according to 247 Composite ratings.

A-State currently has 15 commits in the 2nd ranked class in the SBC. With several blue-shirts from last season counting toward this class they don't have but 2 or 3 spots left. Solid group of freshmen, especially at RB, but also some immediate help from JCs in areas where depth is a concern.

UCA has 12 commits in what is the top rated class in the SLC.

UAPB only has one commit but still has the 2nd best class in SW-AC.

As usual don't expect their recruiting to be over until fall camp as teams constantly add transfers, blue-shirts, grey-shirts, or whatever to their roster.

A-State also has a commit from 6-2, 245lb,  Aaron Donkor from New Mexico Military Institute.  Donkor--who is from Germany, and focused on basketball before deciding to take up football, is a super athlete who will probably play DE at A-State.

A-State currently does not have any players from Arkansas committed, but 5-10, 186lb Samy Johnson, from Little Rock Catholic, is a possibility.

A-State is reportedly being considered by an instate  offensive lineman who is currently commuted to another school.

RB Keyon Brooks is no longer a commit  for A-State, although they are still being considered.

Other than losing a RB, A-State seems to be holding on to their previous commits, and could add a few uncommitted.

Players that could sign according to AStateNation, and who have made their interest public are:

Amir Howard

Dayton Wade

Deunte Chatman (spent last year in JC, and recruited as a RB)

AStateNation has identified a couple of other players that could sign tomorrow, but they have made their interest public.

Recruiting news for UCA and UAPB is pretty much non existent.
