Hope the kid doesn't start thinking about a record an just plays  ball, he doesn't need any extra weights on his shoulder.

No worries there. If you've paid attention to how this kid plays (not saying you haven't, just making a point about 3IJoe) he simply does not force many bad shots and plays the right way. What folks may not have noticed, but it jumped out at me, was he only took 10 shots combined in games against TTech and GA when he had that cold / virus that basically zapped his energy. His shots where short, his wind was gone after getting up and down the floor, but he's so good at both ends and forces D's to account for him which helps others, so  it was more important to him to help the team win than getting up shots.

Many shooters only feel like they measure their worth by taking and making, but Zai never plays that way. Now, we know he can throw daggers like he did late 1st half against Vandy -- but the Hogs were in a funk and he single-handedly did something about that to erase a 10-point deficit to pull Arkansas within one at the break. Second half, he made a big 3 in that run that allowed Arkansas to go up 10, but he only took 3 shots total in that half but did a GREAT job in a 2-man game with Gafford that helped the big fella drop 16 second-half points. Another sign of how undselfish he is comes in transition when Zai is on the ball and almost always makes the right pass, whereas a lot of shooters will drive to a spot and pull. He can do that, too, but he sees the value in being more than a hired gun.

I know, a lot of explanation. Just think he's a lot like Scotty T. and Pat Bradley who let their talent and confidence take care of the numbers minus any appearane of chasing the numbers. Zai's that guy.

his shot is so much like Dillard when he first got here . he was firing from the pigs snout. At first you are like what is he doing. by mid season you expected every shot to go in
