Morris is building a fleet of tall athletic WR similar to what Clemson has. Morris definitely is a plan for the type of players he feels will fit this system and is going after them and getting them over other top schools. Look at the other schools on that list.

Capers was rated much higher a few months ago. I suspect he will get his 4 stars back

His highlight film is actually a pleasant surprise. Usually with kids who are that tall and petty athletic in high school they just run basically a fade route and they throw the ball up 20-25 yards downfield and let them go up and out jump someone for it. But his film had quite a few plays of him catching it underneath or across the middle and getting yards after the catch. I think he is an intriguing prospect because if he stays on track he could be 6’4 220-225 by the end of fall camp his freshman year.

Great offer list. Screw the stars, get players Clemson wants. I noticed no Georgia offer. Hopefully one will not come from them.

The head coach and DL coach are both alumni.  He also has an aunt married to one of our strength assistants, so there are some connections here.

New QB to the High School not the one in Capers highlight videos.

https://www.forsythnews.com/sports/denmark-high-school/football-highly-rated-quarterback-aaron-mclaughlin-transfers-denmark/

This guy is the real deal has been a varsity starter for 2 years already. I think our chances just got better with his main target committing to Arkansas.

He may be 4.6 but if you watch his HUDL he sure is running behind everyone on a lot of plays.  Makes a lot of 1st and 2nd defenders miss a lot.

I'll take him.

Hope these connections help long term.  His QB will only be a junior this year and as such hasn't been rated yet but already has 25 offers including from us as well as 10 other SEC programs.  Already 6'5" 205.  Kid will be a beast in 2021

He definitely looks like a beast. I pretty much trust any decisions our coaches make when recruiting. The QB looks good as well.

Really awesome to have our first 2020 guy be a WR and commit just a few days after Stepp got top 25 recruiter creds!

The Hogs have definitely joined “the arms race” in the SEC. They are picking up weapon after weapon.

I have no issue with him taking other visits while he is committed. The kid feels strong enough about Arkansas to commit to us but you have to let the kid explore all options and do his due diligence. This is the biggest decision of his life and he should not be criticized for making sure he made the right decision. It would be different if this was a month before signing day but it's February and the kid is a junior in high school.

I dont see it that way, he is simply leaving options open. Lots of things can happen in recruiting, on both ends. It would suck if he didnt have a backup plan and Arkansas ends up pulling offer at the last minute. Not saying that would happen, but everyone needs a backup plan

It's a loooooong way from signing day and things are going to change a lot by the time we get there.  Don't be too worked up about a February commit.
