He's one of the states better-paid coaches at Springdale, and after inheriting a 0-10 team, he's improved every year since he's gotten there to make Springdale a playoff team every year, with a statement win over crosstown rivals Har-Ber this past year. I'd say dudes doing alright as Springdale's coach.

Didn't Har-Ber have a mass exodus of their best players transferring to Springdale for their SR year?  Remember reading their was some controversy behind it.

I just remember that Gary Brashears was an parade all American  in high school. Then Houston Nutt lied to him about playing so he quit the team and moved to Little Rock to be a bar tender and dated a forty year old woman. That was like 15 to 16 years ago so I don’t know what he is doing now.

Nope. Never gets old.

Between his backpedaling. Stoerner tripping. And 3 D1 baseball players watching a routine pop fly land inches from all three of them...nothing is ever “too soon”.

LOL. The huge Tom Jones/George Jones misfire is funny. Yeah, those guys are galaxies apart. Hell, I wish I looked like Tom Jones now.

Here are a couple other quarterbacks to research, guys from the mid-70s—

I am actually not sure how Coach Clark kept his job after this embarassing video of him drinking and swearing with a bunch of players parents hit you tube. Another of the participants in the video is a teacher at SHS. The video is them burning a HarBer football jersey (school property)? This was in light of HarBer accusing SHS of "encouraging the transfer" over to SHS of HarBer players. This story is well documented as the student newspaper at HarBer did a tell all and the school district advised them to shut it down. After the "free press" advocates got involved it was re-released. Nevertheless, this video shows Coach Clark acting like the fool and is a bad look. I don't have kids who play for either school, but as an SHS alumni and letterman I feel he should have been terminated. Keep in mind, one of his current players is on this video watching the coach act like this. So in my opinion, I wouldn't say that he is not doing that well.

https://youtu.be/ICWEvngOQmQ

I can tell you how he kept his job. He wasn't in that video. I am not saying he wasn't at that guy's house, but you didn't see him in that video. He wasn't drinking and swearing in the background either. There was one parent of a player that was there and he owned the house. That parent is the one burning stuff and it was tshirts and a hoodie he owned, not a jersey. There wasn't a teacher from SHS there either. Administration, and even HarBer's coach have told Clark they know those kids weren't recruited. The student newspaper did a hit piece on SHS because they lost a football game. A couple of weeks later HarBer had to forfeit several games because they got caught cheating.

Coach Clark is doing very well and most alumni of SHS hope he stays there a long time.

Epic fail.  GEORGE Jones died in 2013. TOM Jones is still alive.  George Jones was the Possum.  Their music is about as similar as a possum to a skunk.

Forgive me, Delilah. I just couldn’t take any more.
