1. Better real time score updates from other games.
2. Bring back the running Hogs crushing the dayís opponentís helmet.
3. Stop the nonstop blasting rap music every song during pregame warmups.
4. Better cell phone service.
5. Try to get flyovers whenever possible.

In your OP you never mentioned that however you did mention Let's Go is 10yrs old and needed to be retired.

You then turned around and said how great Va Techs intro (Enter Sandman) was.

This is just like "We don't  need no new fangled uniforms! Bama wears them traditional uniforms and well it hasn't hurt them" argument.

Guess what? We ain't Bwma.

Is Bwma (bottom west middle Arkansas) a good place to build another home stadium? I bet the Texarkana and Magnolia Hog fans know how to party and never sit down when the hippity hop comes on.

One of the things, besides the awful music, that has to go is the halftime "Go Hogs" spell out.  That is just humiliating!  Stop it, already!

As far as what to add. . .
Back in the olden days, they'd have a truck pulling Tusk around with the cheerleaders on top of the Tusk cage leading cheers and calling the Hogs at different sections in the stadium.  There was the three-wheeler with the helmet, the little remote controlled mini three-wheeler that looked like the bigger version running around on the field, the mascots doing different things. . .I seemed more festive and fun.  Now, they just blast bad music until the band finally takes the field, does their thing then files out.  Just not the same.

Agree on other scores. It's 2019, it's unreal how poor of a job they do here.

I thought they boosted the wifi and call signal but you're right, it's terrible.

Loved the Hog crushing the helmet.

I personally hate the Hog pen thing. I love the days when they came out of the Broyles Complex and you couldn't really see them, I'm a fan of the old school tunnel myself.

Who does Missouri play?
Next year we get a return game at home with West Virginia.
2020 at BYU
2021 at Boston College
2022 at Kansas State

Our home non-conf schedule sucks as well but for WV.

It would be really nice if our fans would refrain from using bad language and yelling it at the top of their lungs.  F*** Bombs are not appropriate language in public, especially when children are in the area.  One change that I would endorse would be to give the ushers the authority to WARN a person to stop cursing and yelling F*** this and F*** that.  If they continue after being notified, they should be removed from the stadium by the police.  I don't want my three year old grandson exposed to that.

Tell him ear muffs then.  Its a 1st amendment issue you can not and should not do anything about it.

First eliminate the bad:
No more Hey Jude
No more spelling Go Hogs at half with the band.. "one more time!"   :puke:
Dump the old intro video with Pat Summerall

Replace with:
Band and Piped in music HAVE to figure out how to work together.  It's a mess.  We need something "arky" - I would say "We're an American Band.." because of the "Last night in Little Rock, put me in a haze" - but that would spark the GSD.  We need something Arkansan or something we identify with that can "rally the troops".

I hate to say this but it works and it is only for people at the game - putting more people on the jumbo tron - "kiss cam" or "dance off cam" - people love that and it is entertaining during breaks..

The football program is rich - tickets are expensive - why can't each game come with a stick pom pom or a towel to wave or something on every seat, at every game?  A little favor for coming to the game.  If you don't want to put them on the seats, hand them out inside the gates.

I think I heard someone say in another thread - huge t-shirt cannon.  Again, people love those things..  t-shirts are cheap.. pump those suckers out

Need Arkansas Celebrities calling the hogs on the field.  Get Jerry out there - D-Mac, John Daly with his crazy pants..  give them a mic and let a drunk celebrity show his Arkansas Red Neck!

I could actually get behind this.  When you're a young teenager trying to impress friends, I know we've all cursed and given the occasional hitting my finger with my hammer or falling down the stairs, I'll still let the expletives fly.  But grownups cursing as a part of their normal lingo is just downright grating to me.  I've worked in construction all of my life so I've heard it all, but in social settings I just don't get it.

Amen, I am the same way. Went in the service, worked around it, was very skilled in itís use. But I donít talk that way anymore especially to my grandkids and donít want anyone talking that way around mine.

Playing Lynard Skynard playing has been horrible for Alabama, lord knows we donít want to be comparable to a program like that.

And how many Skynyrd songs mention Arkansas? I don't know of any. Their most famous song directly mentions Alabama, that makes it just a BIT different.

'Bama should have played "That Smell" after the NC game, we could have played it after 10.

BTW, NONE of Skynyrd's members are from Alabama, they are from Jacksonville, FL.. Ed King, one of the co-writers of that song was from CA and also co-wrote "Incense and Peppermints" for The Strawberry Alarm Clock..

If the Bammers knew that they would riot until they got a new playlist..

Good music and fewer people who are offended by good music

That determination would depend upon what one might consider to be "good music".

I've never been offended by "good music"; - - - - but I most certainly have been mightily offended and highly agitated by raucous noise that was being touted - and passed off -  as "good music".

Find some way to immolate that and they may be onto something.

The starting quarterback's truck?  Or opposing fans' decorated vehicles?  Both, for good measure?

Correct. lil Jon. Kendrick Lamar. Lil Wayne. And post Malone is not good music. Even rap has taken a nose dive these days.

Typical liberal mentality. So you are cool cussing in an elementary school, childrenís daycare, hospital, old folks home, church? Are you cool with me dropping and yelling cuss words in front of your parents, wife, in laws, grandparents? Or is it that you get to choose when and where? You say itís ok at a football game. Johnny Cash (from Arkansas) has at least 6 songs that he yells out Sooie in. One of the is Folsom Prison Blues (not sure thatís the one we would want). What happened to Hog Wild song? That was pretty good.

Outside of the winning, of course. I'm talking outside the grass, but inside the walls of the stadium.

Also, we are switching to real grass, right?
Iíd like to see the fans standing up and making noise (and not just on 3rd down).

I'm no liberal.  Very far from it. I just don't get upset at words. Its the context that matters.  Those people at games are not directing those words at me, so sticks and stone my good man.  Id much rather the stadium be a hostile environment.  I would rather the opposing team also fear the crowd as well as the team.

Not sure it's a 1st amendment issue or not, really.  I understand (and as a Libertarian, completely agree) with the principle, but if someone in a public setting like that gets too rowdy and screams "offensive" language I think there's a line to be crossed that would allow security to remove them....drunk or sober.  It's on the back of the tickets.  As usual, though, I could be wrong.

I have seen a few times security come and chill some folks out.  And whatever they said to them must have been strong enough to work, because the yahoos toned it down after that.

I, personally, have had to ask a guy to ease off the language only one time and he apologized and said he just was irritated (during Nutt's days).  He wasn't a season ticket holder and I guess he got his seats from someone else.  And yeah, he and his wife and friends were loaded.

so if you, your mom, and grandma are standing outside the grocery store and I came up yelling cuss words of the most vile form, you are ok with it since Iím not directing it towards you? I guess we were raised differently. I have respect for elders and the innocent ears of children. Do I cuss around certain groups certainly? They are all men my age. That is not an option at a venue like Razorback Stadium. I laugh at people who throw the First Amendment around like you can say anything. First Amendment protects you from the government prosecuting you for saying what you want, not saying what you want in public where someone may knock you out.

As your new baby grows older you might not want people yelling and screaming cuss words in front of them. Loud is one thing, constant cussing in front of kids another. The opponents can hear and know they are in a hostile environment without the cuss words. The first admendment is one thing......reasonable responsibility and respect towards others is another.

BTW, NONE of Skynyrd's members are from Alabama, they are from Jacksonville, FL.. Ed King, one of the co-writers of that song was from CA and also co-wrote "Incense and Peppermints" for The Strawberry Alarm Clock..

Steve Gaines was from Oklahoma... That would really make the sting of the 2014 Sugar Bowl worse if they knew any better...

Oddly, Ed King and Steve Gaines, who replaced Ed King in the band, had the same birth date Sept 14, 1949.

I haven't posted yet on this subject.  I rarely go to games now but in the past never missed one. Fan behavior is one reason I no longer go. That and I just don't like the atmosphere, the music, the change in the hog call, the wave and you name it. When I first started going to games fans had more
manners.

This. You learn really quick that the stadium environment and presentation of the ďflowĒ isnít attractive or in date so it becomes a driving factor in rarely going to games vs going to games to not going at all. Along with several other factors.

Bottled water for $1.

Trust me you can make lots of money by selling water for $1. I went to another stadium this past year (or the year before), and they were selling water for $1 when the temperature got over a certain level, and it's really a public health matter as well as saving some money for fans. A lot of fans are not going to pay $3-4 for a drink, but everyone needs to be hydrated in a stadium during the day with a lot of heat. This is especially true in August, September and early October.

More generally, Arthur Blank has lowered prices for all food and beverages at Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta to try to make it more appealing for fans to be there. Tickets are very expensive, you have to be a donor to get decent seats -- so why try to milk fans for every dime? As the WSJ pointed out, there are an increasing number of no shows at games.

$1 bottled water would be a good start.

Iím 61 and been going to games since the 70ís. The fans are no worse and the drive is actually better due to the interstate. Concessions could be better but they arenít any worse than theyíve always been and in some parts of the stadium even better. Tailgating is much better. Hotel availability is better. More places to go eat. Dickson street is better. The stadium is light years better than it was. The only complaint I have is so many TV timeouts but Iíve gotten used to it since it helps pay the bills.

$1 bottled water would be a good start.

You can bring in an empty 20oz water bottle and refill on the hot days.
