If everyone is cheating, then no one is cheating. “Cheating” has become the norm, and the NCAA is not going to kill the goose that laid the golden egg.
Way too much money to be made by the ncaa. Imagine the tv viewership of a championship game between Princeton and Holy Cross? Yeah...they aren’t doing a thing

Mike has to expand his recruiting ground, he always finishes with the same lines as his recruiting classes at around 40, LSU had three guys that are as just as good as Gafford. Gafford is one dimensional, that Reid kid can do everything, gotta go get em Mike, or else.
Mike stay local he pretty much sticks to Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma occasionally gets out of state guys but the main 4 stars is basically in state. You have to many places to go in basketball not to go abroad.

The FBI will get those cheaters. In stead of getting terrorist and drug traffickers.

Even if they did they still get the exposure and momentum from cheating. They’re not going to get anyone drastically m; pitino was as hard as they’re going and he’s gone.

This!

There is no such thing as cheating because every top team is doing it and the NCAA doesn't care. People think the FBI will change everything. They won't. Won't make MA a better recruiter. Wont make him work harder on the trail.

Why is anyone with good recruits cheating and bad recruits not cheating?  That is just an excuse.  This young team is MA'S fault from 3 years ago when he went for a quick fix with all the Jucos and transfers...  As soon as he did that this year was doomed for all youth.

Roster management is what will eventually do Mike in. Year 8 and we have no depth at all, we're always one or two pieces away.

Next year the excuse will be Gafford left.

All of the money and power particularly near the top has made the NCAA enforcement committee rich and lazy.    The top teams of the NCAA will stay on top because of all the money everyone is splitting.

The reason the FBI is getting involved is not because they care who is on top but because their is million of dollars being spread around under the table and no one is playing taxes.  The Big money from the shoe contracts and boosters are giving player brokers huge pay days under the table and not playing Taxes on that money.  The FBI can care less with the NCAA rules.  Not their job but they do care about money laundering and not playing taxes.

I hope the FBI can get enough cheaters to talk so that we can nail these guys and shame these cheaters many who are at the top programs.  If we can get at least a few of them maybe the others will quit.    The love of MONEY and POWER is the root of this.  Bible nailed this problem thousands of years ago and it goes on and on.

It is an embarrassing excuse, especially when one of the entrances at Bud Walton Arena is named after a booster who got Arkansas placed on probation for his involvement with recruits.

I think our recruiting rankings pretty well show we don't cheat, but I doubt every single program above the Hogs is cheating.

Took a good team to OT. Wouldn’t overreact to it. But it was a must win considering the Fl loss and what is coming up next week.

Lol@ the “we should cheat” talk instead of “let’s hire a coach who knows how to coach”.    It’s embarassing to watch the product he puts out.   It’s embarassing to listen to him speak.   After We crap the bed at home against a poor Florida team his statement starts with “now don’t forget Florida lost at home last week”.  Mike is a horrid coach.  As long as he is here, we will get the same.

I wouldn’t be mad if every player on the team transfers. If they have any desire to play after college they should go somewhere that has a coach that can teach fundamentals, develop a game plan and does something other than chase the offense down the court. Absolute crap as a coach, doesn’t even show concern about the game until 10 minutes are left in the second half. Watch other coaches with passion, fighting with refs to get calls and their teams reflect that same passion. Yet we get folded arms, and a blank stare down the court.

I've thought this for years

I've thought this for years
Portis is doing better than Monk, Goodwin. Chaney who is rated lower than Perry is doing leaps and bounds better than Perry. Where do you get this crap that players who come here get worse? Gafford went from a low 4 Star to a lottery pick, Kingsley went from a guy who barely knew basketball to the Preasesoj SEC play of the year. I’m tired of hearing this freaking crap where y’all make everything up.

donk

Problem is... Mike seldom has a good free throw shooting team.

Not true. This year is bad but typically isn't a problem.

By the way.  Portis is in his 8th year vs Monk who's a Rookie.  Another hard fail by Mtn. Boy.

Portis isn't in his 8th year, and Monk is not a rookie.

Malik Monk has potential. He would have killed in this system and been more embraced than he ever was by Big Blue Nation, but oh well. His decision.
