Like you, I had to step away for a while.  But ultimately I concluded OSU was probably the better team and we very nearly stole it from them.  But the day is coming when we will be there again and we will be the better team.  Bank on it.

I hope you’re right. But I have my doubts. It was set on a tee for us.

It will be a part of Razorback lore for a long time to come, but we can also start to make it a distant memory this year.

Unfortunately we'll get to relive it all year ... the SECN will without doubt replay it at least once every game or series all season long ... and share their snide wisdom every time they do it.

Can't. wait.

I would rather be there and have it happen than not be there.

it was possibly the saddest I’ve ever been at a game. That being said, the first 8 innings were the most fun I’ve ever had a sporting event. We had so much fun. It was a heck of a ride.

If we're honest...all I hear about my from family and friends and even posters on here is the "dropped" ball. We could go back in time and say maybe Coach Johnson called one too many FB in a row or if Cronin had his secondary pitch that day maybe it never happens. It's over...new season. Lets go Hogs!

I put the loss on the coaches.  After the drop, dvh should have sent Wes to the mound. Calm everyone down. Get refocused. Get that last out.

Just like a timeout in basketball

I agree with this.  It was a great time for the pitching coach to have a talk.  Call the infield in and refocus on getting outs.  I was screaming for a pitching change at that point because it was clear Cronin wasn't exactly on.  Gotta credit OSU but surely somebody in the pen could have come in for about 10 pitches

This was my concern as I watched the game in real time.   Then the pop-up happened, and that gave everyone a more obvious peg upon which to hang the loss, but Cronin clearly didn't have his A+ stuff that night.

I don't understand why we didn't intentionally walk their stud hitter - sure, if he had scored from first we weren't going to win, but he couldn't hit one out if he was on first either - that would've made it first and second with 2 outs. If memory serves me right, the next batter popped up to Shaddy at second for the final out - but by then it was too late.
