Darrell Walker
« on: December 26, 2018, 11:39:34 pm »

Would be a good coach for the Hogs. He is a professional and knows first hand how to win at the game of basketball. If we don't get him he will springboard right off Little Rock and be a force. That's where I am going to put my hope.

Darrell would come coach the Hogs at the drop of a hat.  It's been his destination job for years.  But my wish to see him as Head Hog will fall to the wayside because Mike is here until he decides to retire which makes me sad.

Darrell Walker is better than anyone I've seen named by anyone as a replacement for Mike Anderson.   But yes you're right, Anderson isn't going anywhere for awhile, so there's no need to get our hopes up.

He loves Arkansas, and considers the Razorbacks his dream job, I'd love for him to get a chance to coach the Hogs.

I don't know anything about what he inherited at UALR, but I would doubt a top tier college coach would ever be sitting at the bottom of the Sun Belt. He might've been a good replacement for Nolan, but it seems he is long past his peak.

He inherited crap at UALR.  I truly think that if in 3 years Mike is still at Arkansas and Walker is at UALR, if these two played Walker would win.  Mike is that bad of a coach.
