I do as well. The Brotherton kid has a chance to be very good as well. I hope some of those linemen develop as expected.

Yeah and great baseball player too. He plays for Sticks that stud baseball team that Connor Noland played for.

Seems TE will not be an issue going forward. Very excited about having some good D line guys coming up the pipes. Would like if we could get some O line guys.

Yeah Mason Brotherton is the best college TE prospect out of Mena since Mark Ford went to Houston and made All-SWC there. I graduated with his uncle and worked for his grandfather for a little while after getting out of high school. Played softball against Mason's dad for years. Kid comes from a great family and has a good chance. Memphis offered recently, but they won't be the last.

I played football with Mark Ford at Mena and never understood why Arkansas did not recruit him. If Brotherton is on the level as Ford he will be a good one.

Otis.. With the way CCM guys recruits & the top talent they go after in other states is it safe to say the Ark recruits need to jump on quicker to not get left out ?... that's assuming their not a (T. Burks/H Henry) type recruit... Where Ark will wait & save them a spot..

"Jamarien Frye, RB, 6-2, 205, Rison -- This talented running back helped Rison to a great season. He rushed for 1,336 yards and 26 touchdowns. Played on same team as Arkansas signee Malik Chavis."

If he keeps on progressing this guy may be the RB of the future. Not as fast as Malik but close, and as a sophomore he was dragging defenders along all year. This kid is some kind of tough, he doesn't ever get arm tackled, you have to put him down and most of the time it takes more than one to do it.

His dad is Shemar Bracy, he was another great RB for Rison and A State. His Grandfather is Oscar Frye a tough as nails D End for Rison back in 1974

Didn't Bracy spend some time on the hill before moving to AState?

I don't think so. Seems like they wanted him but it just couldn't happen at the time.

I thought I read where he will be 19 before his SR season, so some question of where he'd play that.

It was a grade issue with Shamar.  Played against him when he was at Rison.  Even played with him in the All-star game.  He had plenty of talent but I don't know if he was SEC capable though.

Shamar Bracey did sign with AR in the famed class of 2001, arguably the best class in school history, but never played for the Hogs, and ended up having a good career at A state ad n

I remember in a track and field event his qsenior year he amazed everyone when in what I believe was the Meet of Champions he had the 4th leg in the 400 relay. Was several  yar ds behind I believe Cedric Houston, the Parade All American RB from Clarendon, when he got the baton. He proceeded to run Houston down and blazed past him to win the race.

I have heard there was an issue with Jamarien's age but have not confirmed it to be true. Pretty sure there was never a question on Bracy's age.

I was at the playoff game in Rison when Clarendon came to town, Arkansas had coaches there to see Cedric Houston.
Houston ended the game with under 100 yards and Bracey had around 200 yards. Houston broke one long run (about 40 yards) and Bracey came from way behind to run him down and make the tackle.

Cedric Houston went on to play for Tennessee and Bracey got an offer I believe from Arkansas but wound up at AState. May have been due to grades but seems like it was more of a personal issue.

Cross Jumper??? Lol

Better than Cross Dresser I suppose

Imagine the announcers if a kid named Cross Dresser got "clothes lined" by Bumper Pool..

At least Bumper's parents didn't name him Pocket..

Looking at the transfer portal list, there is a kid, I don't recall his first name, but his last name is French-Love..

Imagine him standing to the left of a certain former AR QB on the sidelines for a newspaper picture. He is now HC at Van Buren HS. Hint: his first name is Casey..
