If this kid signs with the Horns than he has balls as big as Texas. Here’s a look at what they’ve signed at the position the last 2 years.

Texas 2018

S - Caden Sterns - Nat 19 # 1 player in Texas
S - BJ Foster - Nat 24 # 2 player in Texas
S - D Overshown - Nat 52 # 5 / Texas

2019

S - T Owens - Nat 197 # 27 / Texas
S - C Adimora - Nat 206 # 28 / Texas

J Catalon - Nat 225 # 29 / Texas

Just the fact that the horns still have a spot for him tells me that he could be the defensive recruit / Safety that we’ve been needing for a long time. He’s undersized at 5ft9 188 which means to keep that rating and offers he can flat out play. I think we get him in the end.

Also coming off an ACL injury i believe which makes me surprised Texas didn't pass him up.

The kid wants to play baseball too.!! Texas told him he could play both there. I'm sure we did the same. The shape of Arkansas' baseball program has got to be a very enticing draw...

Same here. This really is a special class, and this staff is to be highly commended for assembling it. I think it’s already on the verge of having the talent for a pretty elite secondary.

The addition of Bush AND Catalon, to go with the others? And don’t forget Bishop from the last class, either. They tell me Malik Chavis don’t even leave tracks. He just flies everywhere.

C’mon Jalen! You bring “compete” here, and you’ll complete the DB group that will present Bigtime problems for some bigtime teams.

It's amazing to me that TX and OK both are loaded with outstanding defensive talent like this, yet are lucky to get 3 defensive stops in the game when they play in Big 12 conference games

The schemes on defense haven’t caught up with the offense in that conference.

I rewatched it last night and the trajectory angle of the ball was weird, probably the toughest catch you could make on a pop up foul ball.

And not one player on the field had a legit shot at it.  If anyone had made the play it would have been #1 on Sports Center's top 10.

That said, the right fielder should have called everyone off.  It was his play to try and make.

I just checked 247 and they've got it at 44% chance for Hogs, 44% chance for  ::hornsdown::

I just think, in the end, he's gonna come join this great bunch of kids we've already got. Just thinkin' 'bout cappin' this class off with signatures from Henry, Burks, and Catalon…!!!! That'd sure add some momentum to spring camp, even if all these kids won't be playing yet. Just having them on the team is enough to put some pep in the step.

He was very short, but had elite athleticism. Very fluid hips, and could jump. With speed. Very similar skill set to catalon

It would have been a very tough catch for the 2B.  The RF should have made the play.  That said, those super-high fouls fly funny.  Anyone who has played much baseball knows that.

And responding to another post, I have been a Razorback fan since 1967.  I suspect that if I sat down and thought about it for a while I could think of at least a dozen plays that I wish we could have back over that foul ball.  Also, "choke" is an easy word for an armchair quarterback to throw around.  When you play a game, darn happens.

Super high foul balls tend to move toward the field of play. Add that to the southwesterly wind that night, and it’s super easy to see how that ball was not coming down in an easy way to catch.... but yes, that should have been the right fielders ball under normal circumstances.

I’d put the 2nd half interception of the 69 shootout as more heartbreaking than the foul ball.
