Shouldn't Bumper get part of her winnings since they used his name without his approval?

I record and watch Jeopardy every day, so I will see this later.
It's amazing that anyone would even know who Bumper Pool is---much less someone named 'Mary Ann'.

There are a surprising number of clues that mention Arkansas. It's happened enough to where I sleuthed the bios of the staff writers to see if there was an Arkansas connection, but didn't see one.
They had a clue on the Ark River a few months ago. Another time they had a final jeopardy clue about the 'Deaf Leopards' school in LR meeting Def Leppard.
Another time they had a geography clue on which state was just below Missouri.
It comes up a lot for a 'small state'.

Not Arkansas, but they had a category recently called 'Weird Al-chemy'. About Weird Al Yankovic songs.
Players were given a title and they had to name the real artist the song was a parody of.

One was 'Eat It'---Michael Jackson
One was 'I Love Rocky Road'---Joan Jett

But amazingly, they did NOT have this one!
'I Lost on Jeopardy'---Greg Kihn Band

Did Erin Andrews ask that?

We now have proof that Bumper Pool is the answer to one of the questions about our Arkansas’ football team.
And, I guess this means I’m going to have to keep watching Jeopardy because I hear Arkansas is going to be a big question next year, too!  ;) WooPig!

Yea, I watched the episode that night and saw that.
They were actually pretty easy. I got all five of them like that (snaps fingers)
But on Jeopardy most of the sports questions tend to be fairly easy...those contestants are usually more versed on World Lit than Sports.

Wouldn't really have to know who he is since they mentioned the Razorbacks and there is only 1 Razorback!

Only 1 Razorback in college. No-one knows how many high school mascots there are and would never be a jeopardy question on a kid playing on a high school team that no-one outside of their conference knows exists.

I mean, if you want to get that technical, there's ACTUAL Razorback Hogs in Africa, maybe one of their names is Bumper Pool and they go to a village school to play with the kids? lol.

Point being, it's obvious he was talking colleges and he said Razorbacks which made the bumper pool part basically pointless. Still cool though.

The only high schools I know that have a Razorback mascot are Texarkana, AR and Panama, OK.
The Panama school has a UA connection, thus the name. The UA loaned them some equipment back in the day. Something of that nature.

I think there's one in the Carolinas somewhere. They have strange school colors though, IIRC.
