Looking hard at purchasing a 2015 Range Rover Sport
« on: October 29, 2018, 02:50:18 am »

I have car fever, as I am totally unhappy with my current ride.  So, my bucket list has always had the Range Rover on it, I just love the look and extras that come with it.
with that being said, are their any unspoken issues they are known for?  The Sport version get better gas mileage than I expected, 17/22 in a 4WD, supercharged 6cyl engine.  I guess Im not sure if Im ready to pull the trigger on a  $44K vehicle.  I would most likely never use the 4WD option, but that's all they come with.

yeah, I think the explorer took a little something from them on their design, at half the price, lol

If it's used get a good warranty. You'll need it.

Not sure about the newer ones but I know the older Range Rovers had major issues with things leaking. Seriously, everything that could leak would leak. Talk to whoever you mechanic is, Iím sure he has seen the same thing.

Actually the Explorer has looked relatively the same since 2011 and the Land Rover continues to change and take its look form te Explorer.  Of course I am sure some of the people at Land Rover were there when Ford owned the company also and probably already had future designs in process.

think Im going to pass, just not seeing a lot of + feedback with my research.  rapid depreciation, constant repair issues, high dollar cost, high dollar extended warranty

just think it's best to find a better option

any recommendations?

Post your number and I will have Heather call you two or three times an hour to let you know your warranty is about to expire, Iím sure she will make you a good deal on extending it, she sounds real nice.
