Huh?

Just giving you a hard time, cuz.  I would not expect any less from you, for that matter. No harm intended.

Like to watch teams with kids with local ties.  Like to see Mizzou do well except for thanksgiving week because Taylor Powell, Akial Bears, and Barrett Bannister played for Fayetteville with my son.  Like to see Ricky Town (still dating my niece) and Will Gragg up at PItt.

In your opinion if he would have stayed would he be the starting QB now?

I’ve always been a Chris Peterson fan. I liked Boise and pay as much attention to Washington as I can stand. I love my Razorbacks and it’s hard to watch other games when we look this bad.

But if you want to watch a team that plays hard, hits hard, has an explosive offense that uses all of its talents, then I would recommend anyone to watch Washington.

Very well coached team. Not to mention being a top 10 team missing a 1st round LT.  And they recruit fairly well.

Hogs are our favorite team, no doubt.

Who is your #2 team?

Mine is University of Houston (went there first, fresh out of h.s)

I cheer against other teams but never for them.  ;)

My #2 is now Alabama.  My team I like is so bad I have to find a team that balances it out and that is Alabama for me.

UCA and Clemson.

The rest of the college football world (including Alabama) better be worried about Clemson.  Kelly Bryant got injured yesterday which means Trevor Lawrence will be getting more game experience.  When Lawrence gets to peak game level there will be nothing an opposing defense will be able to do to defend him.

Also, those passes Texas A&M were able to complete that made that game closer from Venables' perspective in the following video from last Monday was because of some lax Secondary eye discipline, which is not a major problem and will be fixed.

I actually grew up about 20 miles from Slippery Rock.  They were one of our HS rivals.

I grew up a huge Notre Dame fan so that was my first love.  Then my older sister got a job teaching at Arkansas and we used to visit her every summer and she gave me Hog souvenirs and I became a Razorback fan and later decided to go to school there.   So Irish and Hogs for me.

I don't have one besides the Razorbacks, I'm kind of surprised at some of the teams mentioned by other posters, I would have never thought any Hog fan could like LSU.  Here shortly some poster will say their team is the Texas longhorns[/quote/]

No one. I’d rather they all lose, SEC teams included. We owe the conference ZERO loyalty since they’ve never done us any favors in any sport.

Don't root for any other college teams, not even my alma mater, TCU. I mean, I want them to win, sure, but I don't keep up with TCU football at all.

I've got the Los Angeles Rams as my only other football love and it really helps make football season palatable that they've got the best team of they've had in 18 years.

TCU graduate and not watching horned frogs? Weird. Daughter went there and nice stadium and atmosphere. And Los Angeles? Wow. Worst sports city ever.

Actually, I'm a lifelong longhorn fan.  I grew up watching and respectng the Razorbacks in the 70's.
Then my younger brother went to Arkansas in the mid 90's and I became a big fan. My nephew starts next fall at Arkansas.

I never cared for TCU football. I was there at the end of LT's days, so it was Mountain West and WAC football back then. I went to a few games, but just could never get into it. I'll turn on a TCU football game every now and then, but have no desire.

LA a bad sports city? We had the Dodgers in the World Series last year and you can watch one of the best pitchers of all time throwing, a Rams team that's going to contend for a Super Bowl with one of the most exciting teams the NFL has had in a long time and LeBron James. Kings have won cups recently and LAFC is in the hunt for an MLS Cup. If you wanna drive down the road you can watch one of the greatest baseball players in the last thirty years or so play for the Angeles and you can watch Ohtani hitting dingers.

LA sports is fantastic. In fact, name me another city with that much great professional sports going on?

In your opinion if he would have stayed would he be the starting QB now?

He was not seriously recruited.   They didn’t want a spread quarterback. They wanted pro style, under center quarterback.  Also, I believe they were leary of offering another Fayetteville quarterback.  If there were any other QB other than Lock at Mizzou, he would be starting this year.  He’s the best QB Fayetteville has produced.  I feel that he’s better than Brandon and Austin.  Lost the Arkansas 7A state championship game as a sophomore by a score of 24-21 and won it the next two years as a junior and senior.  He would be the starter at Arkansas and it wouldn’t be close.  Arkansas will see plenty of him in 2019, 2020, and 2021 the day after Thanksgiving.  He’s an NFL talent.
