FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas is currently practicing for the sixth time this preseason.

The first four periods were open to the media with the remainder closed. The highlight of the open period was both kickers, Connor Limpert and Preston Stafford, hitting 39-yard field goals. Stafford's was a line drive without the height that Limpert had on his, but both were good. That was the only two field goals attempted during that portion of the practice.

During the three early hurry-up sessions Chad Morris changed the quarterback pattern. He let Ty Storey and Cole Kelley sit out during that portion. Connor Noland was first, followed by John Stephen Jones and then Daulton Hyatt. There's a noticeable difference at this time in those three quarterbacks compared to Storey and Kelley. It would be very surprising at this point to not see Storey or Kelley start the Eastern Illinois game.

The offensive line continued with Hjalte Froholdt at center, flanked at guards by Johnny Gibson and Shane Clenin along with Dalton Wagner and Brian Wallace at the tackles.

The first defense to go on the field against the offense is the hurry-up session was Michael Taylor and Gabe Richardson at the ends, McTelvin Agim and T.J. Smith inside on the line. Dre Greenlaw and DeJon Harris were at the linebackers. D'Vone McClure was at the nickel. The cornerbacks were Chevin Calloway and Ryan Pulley while the safeties were Kamren Curl and Santos Ramirez. Defensive end Randy Ramsey was practicing but, like Storey and Kelley, he didn't participate in that short part of the practice.

The second-team defense had Jamario Bell and Dorian Gerald at the ends with Agim and Jonathan Marshall inside. The linebackers were Grant Freeman and Bumper Pool. Nate Dalton played the nickel. The secondary consisted of Montaric Brown and Myles Mason at the safeties along with Jarques McClellion and Joseph Foucha at the corners.

Chad Morris will meet with the media at 1 p.m. to discuss Thursday's practice.

Thanks for the breakdown! It’s much appreciated as I typically prefer to read than watch videos

I like the potential of that second team D today.

Has Kyrei Fisher made a move on the depth chart at all?  What about Derrick Munson?

I have high hopes for both of them.
