I've heard alot about how Macon played this summer, nothing on Barford.  Does anyone have any info on how he stacked up on competition in the summer leagues?

Barford didnt play much with the Timberwolves every game I saw (Vegas Summer League) he was at the end of the bench...2 games totaling about 5 or 6 min? His comments on twitter after signing with the Bobcats backs that up.

Would love to have him on my Hornets! Doubt he makes the roster, but here's hoping.

Puleeze. They’re painful enough to watch without calling them the Bobcats.

You are right. Hornets, Bobcats even with the name change they still stink...So what is the issue?

A game when Barford gets hot, it doesn't happen often but when he's on fire he's tough to stop.  Reminds me of Todd Day when he'd get hot, nobody could stop him.  He would come out the 2nd half and couldn't hit nothing.

Good to see Barford doing well, but nobody could get hotter than Day back in the day. Even when he was in the NBA, you wouldn't really hear much about him for a while and then out of nowhere, 40+ point game and then right back to not hearing about him for a while.

"It doesn't happen often"?  In 15 games for Greensboro he averages playing only 23.7 minutes but scores at a clip of 18.7 per game, hits 46% of his threes.  That would be hard to do if you were only occasionally hot.

I think what he's saying is this, Barford shoots and average of 18.7 a game, not bad.  But when he gets hot, he's very difficult to stop, going for 31 points in 17 minutes.  He doesn't get that hot often, but it's great to see when he does.
