Joe Johnson was drafted by the Celtics and played there before Phoenix.  Klein was the better college player, but Joe was the better pro.

Todd Day also played for the Celtics, tied a franchise scoring record for points in a quarter if I remember correctly, and it's debateable whether Kleine was a better pro player than Day and vice-versa (Joe with stable longevity mostly as a backup, Day was a starter early in his career but ended up a role player off the bench ... neither panned out relative to what you'd expect of Top 10 draft picks).

As for Joe Johnson, he was drafted by the C's in 2001, played about 50 games as a rookie (if memory serves) before being shuttled off to Phoenix for the final 30 or so games. If that qualifies him for this list, then yeah I agree the easy answer is Joe Johnson.

based on what they acheived while there, i'd give it to Day. he averaged like 14/4 there over a few years.

SuperSonics - Dean Tolson
I became a Sonics fan after they drafted Tolson.   Every morning I’d check the Gazette before school and the Democrat after school to see how he did in the box score.
