Love these quotes.

“I told him (Yurachek) I was good with everything,” Van Horn said. “I think every knows I want to be at Arkansas.

“It’s not all about the finances. It’s about being where you want to be to me.”

It’s nice to know that we have a coach that could easily get a job anywhere in America and possibly make more money but he loves being here and wants to retire here.

Whatever he is getting paid it is probably not enough in comparison to the big sport coaches.

Yea, maybe he should file a lawsuit.

Oops...did I say that?

He's on a mission for a Natty and he will get there sooner than you think.

Man, I hope you're right, but at the risk of having stones hurled at me, life sometimes presents 1 or 2 golden opportunities, and you must seize them. I'm worried we let our best chance ever get away this year. It's easy to say 'we'll be back' now.

I still remember thinking that same thing in 1995, and we haven't been close to the Final Four since then. Haven't even made the Sweet 16 since 1996.

I don't have as much confidence we'll get that natty in baseball. The competition is fierce.

I know what you are saying and agree to a point. I hope we actually now have the mindset that the Beavers had last year, "Unfinished Business". They didn't near as close to winning it as we were this year, and I know we had it won if we catch the pop up, but they had adopted that mindset to get over the disappointment of last year they felt like the only way to do it was win the whole thing.

Yeah, right or wrong, coaches across sports don't get paid based on win/loss.  They get paid based on revenue generation.

Van Horn has the best job in America.  He knows it.  None better than Arkansas.  He has built the program to what it is today.  Thanks to him, along the avid fan support, when he does retire, Arkansas will be able to hire just about anyone.

I feel exactly the same way.  Spot on.  I hope and pray we get back, but everything was right there for the taking and the ball fell among 3 players when it should have been caught.  Its hard to get back there.  I hope we do, I really do, but we let a tremendous opportunity get away.  No guarantee that we can get that close again.

The one reason we might be able to do it in baseball is DVH and his staff.  They can get talent to come to Fayetteville to play baseball.  DVH can reload and get us back there.  It just hurts still to think it was right there.  Right there. Anyway, glad DVH re-upped with the Hogs.  He is our ace in the hole so to speak.

This one and Deifel I agree with, but who in the Hell convinced Yurachek to extend Bucknam..

Holy crap, he's done nothing to deserve that.
