I personally think this will end up hurting Ohio St less than it would any other university. The whole "Dr can't stop touching the boys and especially the wrestling team" seems to be common knowledge from their athletic department.
Current coaches won't be effected, but there could be some suspensions of scholarships spread out amongst all sports.
Is this as bad as the Penn St Horror, not as bad, or worse.
A current senator is even involved... Salacious!

I'm sure LRRandy will be by to tell us it's "much ado about nothing" soon.

It is not going to effect any sports. Look how fast Pn St recovered.

Bottom line is high profile athletes want to go play at high profile programs. 99% of them could not care less who was doing what to who. High profile football players in that region want to go to Pn St or Ohio St or Michigan.

Scandals hurt a Baylor or a Old Misses because they are not a destination school. They are not the holy grail in either of their conferences. A 4* kid who might have been going to old misses can go to MSU or Aub or Ark and get the same exposure. A 4 * kid who was going to Baylor can go to TCU, Or A&M or OU or Okie St and get the same exposure.

Then there's this.... What in the hell is going on in Columbus?

Seems that whatever program existed was reactive, and not proactive. Also, the article implies, though not specifically, that staff were under some kind of performance pressure (unclear). And how did victims become survivors? First time I have seen that in describing an individual who has been a victim of sexual assault or bullying. The article raises more questions than it tries to answer.

It's sad but it won't effect anything.

Sandusky was still coaching penn state when that broke. This guy has been dead for a few years.

If PedState can get by with what they did.... NCAA is all about money. It won't change a thing

Wasn't it ruled that the NCAA had no governing power when it comes to criminal activity?

I mean they are a rules committee.

Public service announcement:

Affect - a verb. "Don't let it affect you." "This won't affect me."

Effect - a noun. "This will have a bad effect."
