The new seats will be chairback, however didn't ask where they would be installed. I took most improvements would be for player and coach amenities. Better clubhouse. I do remember them saying no suites. However, this was before the SEC Tournament.

I don't think you'll ever see a breakdown as you wish, I'm sure they consider that proprietary information they wouldn't like out. They didn't even put out the suite holders at Baum, while releasing RRS and BWA, because of the Naturals.
I understand that what I proposed is wishful thinking.  I don't care to know who donates what or who owns suites.... that's not my goal.  I'd like something similar to what the Alumni Association has with Campaign Arkansas:

https://campaign.uark.edu

It's a small detail but I like seeing the campaign progress.  We are currently at 73% of the $1.25 billion goal.... speaking of which - wasn't the initial goal 1 billion?

Allright.... I've derailed this thread enough. Sorry.

$25M is an awful lot for what you say.  The entire MSU project is $55M. Paying almost half of that for just some seats and the players area is extremely cost ineffective relatively speaking.

Though I am interested to see what the final bill MSU will have is.
MSU will always be situated in the flatlands of Mississippi. They will always have mosquito, biting flies, copperheads, eastern diamondback rattlesnakes and water moccasins. Along with the usual amount of flatland stench. Why do you think they keep those grills smoking like they were a locomotive coming through ? Twofold, 1) the smoke from the meat on the grills will help run away the skeeters along with the cow pie stench from the pastures not far from Dudy Noble.

What's surprising, speaking of Miss St, is even after a late-season surge all the way into Omaha, the Dogs hired Indiana's coach instead of promoting interim coach Henderson.

Even though he was just interim, I was still surprised by that.

Anybody have any scoop on this?

I think hiring Lemonis from Indiana was a great choice by State.  What he did at Indiana was spectacular.  He is obviously an excellent coach.  Give him M State's talent base and he will no doubt be successful.

It will definitely be nicer than Baum. I love the Hogs and Baum Stadium, but be honest with yourself. Their new park is going to be the best in the country. Have you seen what it will look like? They are going to have condos in left field.

Like i said.  Its an arms race in the SEC.  As one of the few schools that actually makes profit from its baseball program, this is just the start for us. With this last run we opened the eyes for a LOT of 1st time casual fans.  We could fill the entire oitfield with private suites foul pole to pole and id bet theyd be sold out right now.  Msu may get the nod of the best when its done, but like i said, lets see how it goes . We'll do player upgrades next round, then fan.  I am sure Vanhorn and those in charge will have some good ideas as to how to upgrade. I personally love the center field entrance. And really, if we dont have the #1 stadium, it doesnt bother me , as long as we have a great team.   Which, i have no doubt that we will.

Matt Goodheart

I don’t think that’s who it is. From what I read this is a late add whose name hasn’t been made public yet. I do expect Goodheart to make a major impact.

Trevor Ezell hit .377 at SEMO and could slide in to the second base slot if his shoulder is healed this Fall, otherwise he is the leading candidate for DH, according to Van Horn.
